Secured by a keyed lock, our independent room features a double bed and a dedicated desk space, where you can leave your luggage with peace of mind. Shower gel, shampoo, towels, and bed linen are provided. 🏡 On the ground floor, the house features an inviting common area that brings together the kitchen, living room, and dining room. Upstairs, the spacious shared bathroom is fully equipped with a bathtub, double sinks, and a walk-in wardrobe. For added convenience, there are separate toilets on each level. Whether you are in the mood for music or reading, a board game afternoon, or a movie night, the house is packed with great spots so everyone can enjoy their stay at their own pace. 🌳 Outside, a lush green setting awaits you. Offering both sunny and shaded areas, our furnished terrace is nestled within a beautifully landscaped, flower-filled park overlooking the scenic Creuse countryside. It is the perfect backdrop to unwind or share a friendly moment together. For those with a competitive streak, a boules (pétanque) pitch and a dartboard are ready for a friendly match. If you are looking to daydream, our relaxation area is the perfect spot to meditate, unwind, or practice yoga. Finally, our charming rustic swing, sun loungers, and plush beanbags are sure to delight guests of all ages! Guest access 🚗 Easily accessible, our guest house welcomes you just outside the village of Jarnages. Ideally located between Limoges and Montluçon (15 minutes from Guéret), l’Arbre et la Pirogue is just 3 minutes from the N145 highway on the D990 road, perfectly combining a convenient stopover with easy access to major routes. For this reason, other pets are not allowed. She is regularly checked by a vet and is in perfect health. We kindly ask you to treat her with kindness. 🥐 Morning Awakening The house does not offer a full breakfast service. However, other gourmet options can be proposed. Feel free to talk to us about it upon your arrival. 🍴 Dining Options Please note the house does not serve meals. However, L’Alzire, a wonderful bar and restaurant located just a few steps away, can provide an ideal option for your lunches and dinners. For your comfort, a dedicated compartment is reserved for you in the refrigerator, and a dishwasher is at your disposal. 🌟 Hygiene & Harmony Please leave the shared areas as clean as you found them to maintain the harmony of the house. Also, out of respect for our neighbors and everyone's rest, gatherings are welcome as long as they preserve the peace and quiet of all. For everyone’s comfort, please report any malfunction or damage before your departure. 🏝️ Workation & Long Stays We offer stays for a maximum duration of 7 days. A weekly renewal can, however, be considered subject to availability and prior agreement. 💡 Stopover Rooms Our concept is inspired by traditional guest houses (chambres d'hôtes), but favors a more flexible and personalized approach to homestay lodging. Designed as a warm and secure cocoon, your room is one of only three available in the house. An invitation to either socialize or enjoy your privacy, we also limit our capacity to a maximum of six guests so that everyone can fully enjoy the space in total freedom. For families or groups of friends, booking our three rooms together offers the ideal private setup.
