Welcome to the historic Haldenhof inn from 1778, immersed in nature and directly on the Thurgau wine trail. The cozy double room “Wiiberg” accommodates two people. In front of the room, a lounge area with a Nespresso machine, free coffee capsules and books invites you to linger. Three toilets and two showers with shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer are available. Our restaurant awaits you in the house, and a breakfast buffet is available daily from 7 am. The space The lovingly furnished room "Wiiberg" is located in the historic Haldenhof inn from 1778, in the middle of the Thurgau wine region and directly on the wine hiking trail. The room has a double bed and air conditioning and heating. Three toilets and two showers with free shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer are available in the hotel area. In front of the rooms there is a cozy lounge area with a Nespresso machine, free coffee capsules (coffee capsules are also available in all rooms) and books, which can be used by all guests. On the ground floor, you will find our restaurant with terrace and boulevard, as well as a breakfast buffet in the Haldensaal daily from 7 am, provided breakfast has been booked separately. Guest access Separate 24/7 entrance with electronic key. At the hotel entrance, on the right, there are labeled key boxes. The key to the room is inside if we are not there when you arrive. Other things to note PLEASE READ THROUGH! Please note the opening hours of our restaurant. Only any breakfast is provided on rest days. Our closed days are Monday and Tuesday. --- Please be sure to follow the house rules. Quiet hours start at 11 pm. If you arrive late, please be quiet. Other guests are sleeping. Thank you very much! --- When arriving, make sure to enter the "Schlösslistrasse". Then turn right and immediately turn right into the cul-de-sac. The navigation system has the quirkiness of stepping up a private road that is not passable from time to time. Therefore, please do not drive up the private road! --- Parking: There are several options for parking your car at our farm. It has marked parking spaces, green areas on the side, etc. However, make sure that you always keep the access road clear at all times. Otherwise, in an emergency situation, the vehicle will be towed or damaged. Tractors also pass by every now and then! --- Attention! There are many children playing and lots of animals on the farm! Do not drive up the private road, and in general, make sure to drive slowly! --- Breakfast can be booked separately on request. Please let us know when checking in! It will be charged when you check in. We charge CHF 25 per person for this. If we are not there ourselves, please send a message. Breakfast must be notified and settled by 6 pm at the latest. It consists of fresh butter braid, summits, orange juice, granola, muesli, yogurt, cold cuts (sausage, ham, salami), cheese with butter, marmalade, Nutella, honey, coffee, tea, milk, etc. Breakfast is set up in the Haldensaal and you can have breakfast on your own in the morning. --- Cleaning: The vacated rooms and the hotel are cleaned daily by a professional cleaning company. Nevertheless, we ask that you please pay attention to cleanliness so that other guests do not feel disturbed and subsequently give us a bad review. --- Cleanliness/trash: Please do not leave any trash. Don't just leave used tableware, glasses and cups lying around, but put them in the lounge or leave them in the room. Please take your own waste and garbage with you again. Do not leave beer cans standing or lying around. Do not throw garbage on the street or in the meadows. --- Smoking: Smoke and fire detectors are installed. It is absolutely and strictly forbidden to smoke in the rooms or inside the buildings! Anyone who violates this must definitely pay extra costs! --- Dog bed: If you are staying with your dog, you can let us know if you need a dog bed. We have a few. --- If you need an extra bed for babies or toddlers, please let us know. We will gladly provide you with one (you must bring your own pillow/blanket, etc.!) --- Accommodation conditions – Gasthaus Haldenhof (Airbnb) These accommodation conditions apply to all bookings and stays at Gasthaus Haldenhof, Halden 4, 8561 Ottoberg, made through Airbnb. By booking, the guest agrees to these terms. 1. Application These accommodation conditions apply to all stays booked via Airbnb at the Haldenhof Inn, Halden 4, 8561 Ottoberg (hereinafter referred to as the "Property"). Contract conclusion and reservation The accommodation contract is concluded upon confirmation of the booking via the Airbnb platform. The guest who makes the booking is jointly and severally liable with any co-travelers for all obligations arising from the contract. 3. Check-in and check-out Check-in is possible by 6 pm at the latest, and check-out is possible by 11 am at the latest on the day of departure. A later arrival as well as a request for a later check-out must be arranged in advance with the management and confirmed by them. Rooms that are not vacated by 11:00 AM without prior arrangement may be charged as an additional night. 4. Prices and payment terms Payment is made in full via the Airbnb platform in accordance with the payment terms applicable there. The prices in Swiss francs (CHF) confirmed at the time of booking on Airbnb, including statutory VAT, apply unless otherwise specified. Tourist taxes and other municipal fees, if not already collected through Airbnb, will be charged separately on site. 5. Cancellation Cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy posted on this Airbnb listing. Refunds are governed solely by the provisions of this Airbnb policy. For stays of 14 days or longer, the separate additional terms for long-term stays also apply, provided they are compatible with Airbnb. 6. Withdrawal by the company The business may cancel a booking under the rules provided by Airbnb, in particular in the event of force majeure, incorrect information provided by the guest regarding the person or purpose of the stay, overbooking, or if there is a reasonable belief that the stay will jeopardize the undisturbed operation, safety or reputation of the business. Refunds of payments already made will be made through Airbnb; further claims by the guest are excluded. 7. House Rules and Behavior The guest agrees to comply with the applicable house rules and any additional property-specific conditions (e.g., for long-term stays). Be considerate of other guests and the staff, especially with regard to volume and quiet hours at night. The business is entitled to terminate the contract without notice in the event of serious or repeated violations; in this case, the guest remains obliged to pay the full agreed price. 8. Liability of the Business The business is only liable for damage to the guest if it is proven that the business or its assistants are at fault. No liability is assumed for items, valuables, cash, or vehicles brought onto the premises, to the extent permitted by law. It is recommended not to leave valuables unattended in the room. 9. Guest Liability and Cleaning Obligation The guest is liable for all damages caused by him, his fellow travelers or pets brought along to the building, furniture or inventory. The business is entitled to charge for the corresponding costs or to claim them via Airbnb. The guest is responsible for the proper cleaning and maintenance of the room during the stay and for a proper handover at check-out. 10. Keys If a room key or other keys provided by the establishment are lost, a lump sum of CHF 200 per lost key will be charged. These costs are to be paid directly to the business on site. 11. Pets Dogs are generally welcome. The guest/owner ensures that the dog is walked sufficiently and does its business outside the building. If the dog urinates or defecates in the room or inside the building, the guest is obliged to clean it up immediately and completely. If professional special cleaning is performed by the company, a flat fee of CHF 160 will be charged. The guest/owner is liable for all damage caused by the dog. Cats are only permitted by prior arrangement with the management. An additional fee of 160 CHF will be charged for each cat for special cleaning (especially cat hair). In addition, a deposit of up to CHF 500 may be required; this will be refunded after successful check-out, provided there is no damage or soiling. The guest/owner is liable for all damages. The legal minimum requirements for appropriate housing and exercise outside the cage must be observed at all times. The cat is not allowed to urinate, mark or defecate in the rooms and common areas. Permanent meowing that disturbs other guests is not permitted. 12. Data protection The personal data collected during the booking and stay will be used exclusively for contract processing, for fulfilling legal reporting obligations and, if the guest has consented, for advertising purposes. The provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) apply. 13. Applicable law and jurisdiction Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the accommodation contract is, to the extent permitted by law, the registered office of the business in Ottoberg, Thurgau.
