The Laurels is a welcoming, comfortable, Modern home and an excellent base from which to explore the wonderful county of North Yorkshire, its central location gives great access to both the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Situated in the market town of Northallerton The Laurels is just a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk from the town centre with its numerous shops, restaurants, cafes and bars to explore **Spring/Summer 2026** Book 7 Nights or more and save at least £50 The space The Laurels is cleaned and maintained to a high standards and features, two lovely double bedrooms , each bedroom has a comfortable, standard size double bed. Downstairs is a modern open plan fully fitted kitchen which includes a breakfast Bar with seating for 4 and In the lounge area you will find a comfortable corner sofa and additional seating plus a 65 inch ultra HD TV, great for watching movies so Netflix is included and available for guests. Outside, is private, fully fenced garden with a decked sitting area and a lovely summerhouse, at the front of the property are Two off-street parking spaces. LOCAL AREA. The Laurels is situated on modern housing development that borders on to open countryside in the county town of Northallerton, you can walk into town or drive in just 5 minutes. The town centre has a traditional high Street with numerous shops,cafes and restaurants to explore ( including the famous Betty’s tea rooms) plus a busy market twice a week and a Fabulous department store. Access to the North York Moors National Park is easy from The Laurels just a short 10 minute drive gets you to the scenic Hambleton hills and the historic Cleveland Way. Northallerton also has a main line railway station with frequent trains to York city centre (just 20 minutes) Durham and Newcastle great for a day’s out without the car GUEST INFORMATION To make your stay even more enjoyable in the visitors folder, we have put together a selection of our favourite places to visit in the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks , including special walks that we have enjoyed over the years, these are available for guests along with local information leaflets and Ordance Survey Maps. In addition you can walk in a few minutes from The Laurels to open countryside with pretty distant views across to the Moors and Dales. Please note, The Laurels is on a modern housing estate which borders on to open countryside but the house has no direct views to the surrounding countryside Wi-fi Available for guest use. ( Due to technical issues we cannot offer super fast broadband) ENTERTAINMENT 65 inch ultra HD TV with Netflix and Freeview The HD TVs in the Bedrooms have Netflix and Freeview Music By Alexa MINIMUM STAY The Laurels has a minimum stay of 5 nights and check in days are Friday Saturday or Sunday. EARLY CHECK IN AND LATE CHECK OUT INCLUDED check in time is 1PM Check out time is 12 noon CHILDREN / INFANTS Up to 2 Children under 12 are welcome and do not count towards the maximum occupancy of 3 We can provide you with a travel cot, high chair and a stair guard (please note the stair guard can not be used at the top of the stairs due to the design of the house and we do not provide bedding for the cot ). WE WELCOME YOUR 4 PAWS It is important to advise us at the time of booking that you intend to bring your dog. We will leave a pack containing throws, towels, treats, and bowls ( this will help you and your dog to follow the house rules).In the house file, you will find details of our favourite dog walks locally in the Dale's and Moors. Due to the size of the property, we can only accommodate one dog and make a charge of £30 per stay to cover the additional cleaning we have to undertake for health and safety requirements. Sorry! we only accept dogs. ELECTRIC CARS We do not have safe facilities for fast charging an electric vehicles. However public charging is available just across the road from the house. Other things to note IMPORTANT. For insurance reasons and to ensure a comfortable and safe stay, the house will be set up for the number of guests booked ( maximum 3) Please be accurate with your party numbers. If you arrive with a larger group and / or pets that you have not told us about in your reservation, we will regrettably have no option but to cancel your reservation.i
