A Floating Hideaway for Two

Drift away together on your own private floating sauna in the heart of Hiiumaa. Just you, the water, and the kind of heat that melts away everything else. No neighbors. No noise. No agenda. Step outside and cool off under open sky, then climb back in for more. This is what couples do when they want to remember why they like each other. The space Some dates are dinner and a movie. This one is a private sauna floating on the calm waters of Orjaku harbour, on Estonia's most beautiful small marina. You get the whole houseboat to yourselves — no shared walls, no strangers, no interruptions. Heat up, step out, dip into the sea, repeat. Watch the sun set over the water while your shoulders finally drop. Talk. Don't talk. Either works. The experience: — Traditional wood-fired sauna, properly hot — Private dock, arrive and leave at your own pace — Swim ladder for cooling off between rounds — Orjaku harbour views, Hiiumaa island silence — Seaview over the bay of Jausa — Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or just a Tuesday that deserves better. Hiiumaa is Estonia's island of slow living — no traffic lights, no rush, no pretending you're busy. Getting here takes a little effort. Staying longer than planned is almost guaranteed. Book the houseboat. Bring someone you love. For your information in advance: the sauna house consists of three indoor areas — a steam room, a washroom and an entrance room/bedroom. There is a tub with cold water in the washroom, and hot water can be obtained from the steam room. A wash basin is provided for washing. A shower with running water and a toilet are located in the harbour building. The entrance room has a sofa bed for sitting and sleeping, with a sleeping area measuring 130 × 190 cm. Bed linen and sauna towels for two people are provided. There is also a table, armchairs and a refrigerator in the entrance room. The roof terrace has outdoor furniture consisting of a sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table. Seat cushions are provided and are stored in the sauna entrance room behind the armchairs. In windy or rainy weather, please remove the cushions from the terrace again when leaving. The sauna house is surrounded by a terrace on all four sides, and there is a ladder leading into the water. There are no dishes or other utensils available on site for preparing or eating food. A fire pit is available by the shore. If you would like to make morning coffee in the sauna house, we can provide a coffee machine that uses coffee pods. Drinking cups and coffee cups are also available. Swallows, spiders and various flying insects are part of nature and may be part of the experience of staying here. We do our best to ensure that any signs of nature are kept to a minimum when our guests arrive, but we cannot guarantee that this will remain the case throughout the entire stay. Other things to note Bathroom and showers are available in the marina facilities. Upon arrival, we ask guests to park their car by the Saalimaja. From there, it is a few hundred metres’ walk to the sauna. Breakfast is available in iiuMekk restaurant upon request for extra fee 15€/per person. Breakfast must be booked 1 day before. This option is available from Wednesday to Sunday until the end of August.
