Birchover is an ancient village dating back to the Doomsday Book. It is filled with history and sits among moorlands close to the town of Matlock. There's plenty to explore, including the nearby Rowtor Rocks, a system of interlinked caverns and tunnels on the outskirts of the village, and the Nine Ladies stone circle on Stanton Moor. Please be aware that there is a step to enter the cottage, and the bedroom and shower room are upstairs, so unfortunately it is not accessible for those with limited mobility.
