Ströhuset - Countryside Escape in Skåne

Ströhuset is a red wooden house by the forest in Skåne. Surrounded by trees at the back and open countryside in front, it’s a place to slow down and enjoy nature. The house has a warm Scandinavian feel with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cosy living room with light from three sides. Outside, the wooden deck offers space for morning coffee, long summer evenings, and forest views. Ideal for a peaceful escape. The house is located on the countryside, we recommend travelling by car. The space The house has two bedrooms, both with double beds (160 cm), one located downstairs and one upstairs. The ground floor has an open layout with a kitchen (fully equipped, includes a dishwasher), dining area, and living room in one space, creating a bright and social atmosphere. The bathroom is located on the ground floor, it includes a walk-in shower, and a washing machine for longer stays. Guest access Guests have access to almost the entire house and garden. The only spaces that are not accessible is second room upstairs and the garage. When it’s not rented out we also live (partially) in the house, therefore some drawers/parts of closets are private. We give more information about this a few days before arrival. Other things to note Dogs: We welcome dogs to Ströhuset. The house is located right next to the forest, with plenty of opportunities for lovely walks in the surrounding area. A pet fee per dog per stay applies. To help us keep the house clean and comfortable for all our guests, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines: - Maximum 2 dogs per stay. - Dogs are not allowed on the beds, the couch or the armchairs. - Dogs should not be left alone in the house for extended periods. - Please be mindful of your dogs and respectful of the surrounding nature and area. - Please always clean up after your dog, including in the garden. - Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet during their stay. Travelling to the house: We recommend travelling by car as it’s the most convenient way to reach the house, go around in the area and to get groceries (for example, the closest grocery store is a 10 minutes drive). There are parking spaces on the gravel area that easily fit two cars (and if needed three). Please do not block the path leading up to the forest, as the forest ranger may need to pass through. Although we don’t advice travelling by public transport, if you don’t have a car the nearest train station is Eslöv. From there, you can take a taxi. Skånetrafiken also offers 'närtrafik' between Eslöv and the house, with limited departures (currently around 13:30 from Eslöv and 08:45 from the house).
