The Stables, Pettistree

A beautiful fully self contained holiday home nestled in the Suffolk countryside. The cottage is situated in a charming area of Suffolk that is central to many popular holiday destinations but the location also provides you with quiet and peaceful surroundings. The cottage is fully self contained and is well equipped with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable and homely. It is suitable for a family of four or for two couples. The space The stables is a conversion of what was once an area to house the horses. It has been lovingly converted to create a modern ,comfortable,light and open plan living area. It is all on the same level. Living room. The living area has a three seater and two seater sofas with a smart flat screen T.V. Kitchen/Dining . The kitchen dining area is designed for sociability in mind. There is a large wooden table that comfortably seats 6 people for lazy lunches and evening suppers. There are double doors that lead out into the patio, BBQ area. The kitchen has all modern integrated appliances , that includes a dishwasher , fridge /freezer and a single door oven with an integrated 4 hob cooker top. There is an abundance of crockery for both the adults and children , and everything else that you need to prepare a family meal. There is a welcome basket on your arrival, which is seasonal, but there is always milk, tea,coffee,hot chocolate and sugar available for you to have a cuppa after your long/ short journey to the stables. There is also the essentials there for you to help start your holiday which includes cleaning products, some toilet paper, dish cloths and dishwashing liquid. Bedroom 1. This bedroom has a king size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe space for hanging your clothes. We also provide Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. Bedroom 2. Bedroom two can be made up as two single beds or one large king size bed. The room is fitted with a chest of drawers and a freestanding wardrobe. Bathroom. The bathroom has a free standing bath and large shower. Utility cupboard. There is a washing machine, clothes horse, iron ,ironing board and items to keep the cottage clean and tidy. Outdoor area. From the kitchen there are french doors that lead out to your own secure patio area with comfortable outdoor seating and also a BBQ area. You have your own private access to park your vehicles or to securely keep your bikes. There is wi fi available , smart TV plus an assortment of games and books to keep the children entertained if you experience the odd rainy day. There is an abundance of local information for you to browse through to plan your time with us . The cottage itself is situated on a arable farm that has stunning views of the countryside. Other things to note There are high chairs available on request. The stables is a place that will make you feel like it’s your home away from home. It is a great space for you to be able to work - from - home comfortably with fibre broadband.
