To ensure your peace and quiet, we never rent our neighboring cabin to separate parties. You get total privacy and exclusive use of the huge 1.5-acre fenced yard. Includes a Level 2 EV charger. Just 45m to Kirkwood. A true family sanctuary! Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire property and the cabin they have rented. A few areas are reserved for owners only: the front workshop, metal shed, the third vacant home, two small well houses, and a locked closet in Little Bear. Please respect these private spaces and do not enter. Thank you! Other things to note Motherwood is perfectly placed for adventure. Just 45 minutes from Kirkwood Ski Resort, 30 minutes from Bear Reservoir for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding, and minutes from the peaceful trail around Lake Taboe. Explore the stunning Black Chasm Cavern, or head to Roaring Camp for gold panning followed by a memorable dinner experience. From winter slopes to summer lakes, every season calls you out to play. while you enjoy your stay there are a few notes we would like you to keep in mind. open flames or fire pits are NOT allowed. The yard is large, but a few minutes of tidying helps us keep this special place available for future guests. This is a family home; treat it with the same care you would a beloved relative’s house.
