The outdoors is the largest draw to the area. You can enjoy a covered private deck area with a Table and Chairs just outside the entrance, an umbrella table, grills and chairs to the front on the large sundeck and you can enjoy the upper wrap around covered decking as well if it was to rain or to get out of the sun shine or for meals with more seating for larger groups , games, conversation, wild life watching, dancing or relaxing playing music, the massage table and more. You will never tire of the beautiful view of the large yard with wooded areas on each side, the lake, the sunset, and probably several deer and more wildlife. You will have access to floats, tubes, some life vests and a few water toys to enjoy on the lake as well as some hammocks made for two, fire pits for roasting marshmallows and a fishing pole for simply relaxing by the lake in the sun or in the shade. If we have a canoe or a kayak at the time you would be welcomed to use it as well but they are not guaranteed so please inquire about availability rentals or a place that delivers them onsite if it is something you for sure would like to do. Bring a football or a frisbee to toss around, play fetch with your pup, play horseshoes in the large gently sloping yard, corn hole on the sundeck or covered deck! Whether you bring your own boat or plan to rent a boat, Straight Creek Dock is just across the lake or a short 5 minute drive by road for launching and rentals with Cedar Grove Marina, Beach Island, Norris Landing and Lone Mountain Boat Dock only minutes further. If you wish to arrive late it's OK. If you want to fish all night long it's just fine! Firepits, camp fires, fireworks, and music after midnight or first thing in the morning are all ok.
