Description
1 Mill Cottages retains much of its cottage charm, being cosy and comfortable with a woodburning stove in the sitting room. The garden reaches from the front parking area down towards a field at the back. A bespoke oak, glass roofed veranda/porch at the side adds a sheltered outside space perfect for a sunny morning coffee etc. Walking and bike trails are on the doorstep. Less than a mile from the celebrated Heart of Wales line railway station. In easy reach of various local towns and cities. The space Traditional cottage layout. Stairs lead up to two bedrooms, one double, one single on the first floor. Living room with cosy woodburning stove, kitchen and bathroom are all on the ground floor. There is a sheltered space within the glass covered veranda/porch and other areas to enjoy in the garden. Outside seating: solid oak benches, one at front of house, one on veranda and lightweight fold out canvas chairs to position at will. The garden has the privacy of tall hedges and backs onto a field that occasionally has livestock in it. Spring 2026 has seen a managed wild flower area sown, giving cover around the sunken LPG tank and keeping the insects and birds happy. These flowers are a mixture of annual and perennial varieties and will probably not look at there best all year round as they will have a meadow cut later on in the year and the seeds left to fall before raking up and raking in. There is off road parking at the front of the property with easy access to the cottage via a paved path to the door at the side.
