Partial kitchen, private bath, balcony, views & pond area where guests can relax and see the ducks play. The space Totally private. Not just a romantic stay - a Sherlock Holmes theme experience with lots of puzzles to solve. So be ready to put on your deerstaker and start sleuthing! Yum! Yum! Yum! Gourmet breakfast served in your room or balcony, and in warmer months, it's almost like eating in a tree house. Great location! Minutes to wine tasting & Danish town of Solvang, Los Olivos and Chumash Casino Resort and Cachuma Lake. Your hideaway is very private and has its own private entrance, bathroom, balcony, spacious room, and partial kitchen. Keeping with our Victorian theme, we DO NOT have television although we do provide many Sherlock Holmes themed puzzles for you to solve as well as other card and board games. We have central air conditioning as well as ceiling fans, window fans, plenty of ventilation, and cathedral ceilings. Note: the library is in the main house and is not part of your rental. Guests may ask for a tour of the Sherlock Holmes library/museum, during their stay. The tour takes about one hour. Rental does not include breakfast. However, guests may also occasionally request a breakfast on select days at an additional cost. Guest access Access to the suite is up your private outside staircase to the second floor which takes you to your rooms and balcony. In addition, guests may stroll into the hostess's backyard to sit at the pond under the pergola and watch the ducks play. Other things to note Guests can win a bottle of Mrs. Hudson's homemade wines (or beer when available) by playing "detective" and solving any one of her fun Sherlock Holmes themed puzzles found in your room. The nightly rate includes all taxes. No surprise fees. Note: Booking are for 31 day stays or longer and do not include breakfast. Monthly fee does include weekly changing of sheets and towels.
