Despite its peaceful setting, Grove House is ideally located for exploring the South Downs National Park & the surrounding historic villages of Ditchling & Hurstpierpoint. The space Grove House is a spacious three-bedroom country home set privately on Ote Hall Farm. Downstairs there is a large, comfortable sitting room with fireplace, a separate dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space to relax and unwind. There is also a spacious sun room with TV. Upstairs are three generous double bedrooms and well-appointed bathrooms. Guests also have access to the renovated old stables which houses a games room (darts, table tennis & snooker). As well as this there is a writing room, bar area and simple yoga room with mats. Outside, the house has around two acres of private gardens, with lawns, outdoor seating and a river running along the garden. Beyond the garden is ancient woodland, while guests with dogs also have use of a separate secure one-acre field. The house is surrounded by countryside and feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded, while still being within easy reach of Haywards Heath, Ditchling and the surrounding Sussex villages. There is ample private parking directly at the house. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and its private gardens throughout their stay, so you can really make Grove House your own. You’re also welcome to explore the surrounding Ote Hall Farm, with beautiful countryside and endless walks straight from the doorstep. There’s a secure one-acre field for dogs, as well as footpaths leading through the surrounding Sussex countryside onto Ditchling Common & The South Downs — perfect for long walks without having to get in the car. There is a small Morrison’s is a 5 minutes walk away and the local pub The Hairy Dog Brewery is just 8 mins walk away. There is plenty of private parking directly beside the house. Other things to note Grove House is a genuine country home in a wonderfully peaceful and private setting on Ote Hall Farm. As we’re surrounded by working farmland and countryside, you may occasionally see or hear farm activity, wildlife and animals nearby — all part of staying in rural Sussex. Dogs are very welcome, and with the private garden, secure dog field and miles of walks from the doorstep, it’s a particularly lovely place to bring them.
