Built by my paternal grandparents in 1900, it has been restored in recent years step by step and with a lot of love and warmth. The space Welcome to Casa Poesía de El Hierro, a rural house with soul located in the heart of El Pinar, on the island of El Hierro, the most authentic and peaceful corner of the Canary Islands. Built by my grandparents around 1900, this cozy house has been carefully restored over the years, respecting the traditional architecture of El Hierro. Its volcanic stone walls, its original juniper wood ceiling and its charming courtyard preserve the essence of an era when life flowed to the rhythm of nature. Casa Poesía is much more than just a place to stay. It's a retreat for those seeking tranquility, inspiration and disconnection. An ideal place for writers, artists, readers, couples and nature lovers who want to get away from the noise and enjoy an authentic experience. Full of charm; in winter the vegetation regains its life and gives us its splendor! The island is an explosion of life that changes during the seasons. The sunrises from the bedroom and the living room are an indescribable gift: with El Teide and the sea, spectacular! Other things to note Casa Poesía de El Hierro has undergone various improvements over the years, always carried out with the utmost respect for the traditional architecture of the island and for the original essence of the house. In 2021, we completely renovated the interior staircase, transforming it into a more comfortable, safe and functional element, without sacrificing the beauty and harmony that characterize the house. We also replaced the windows and the door on the upper floor with double glazing, improving thermal and acoustic comfort. This renovation was carried out with careful respect for the proportions, materials and aesthetics of the architectural complex, so that the new additions are integrated naturally and harmoniously with the traditional character of the house. The house also has hot water in both the bathroom and the kitchen, offering modern conveniences without losing the authentic charm of a building from El Hierro. Our goal has always been to preserve the soul of Casa Poesía, combining contemporary comfort with respect for the architectural heritage and cultural landscape of El Hierro.
