Here at the Suffolk Steel House & Glamping we have two luxury 5 metre Bell Tents available for you to enjoy. The tents are set in over 1/2 an acre of Suffolk countryside for you to enjoy. You will have access to the shared quirky vintage Rice Horsebox kitchen as well as your own private ‘Monty Don' inspired corrugated steel shed bathroom, where you will find hot & cold running water as well as flushing loos. The space We’re a family run business here at the Suffolk Steel House & Glamping. 3 generations have had input into this new and exciting venture which we invite you to come and share with us. We have two luxury 5 metre Bell Tents (each tent able to sleep 2 people) available this summer, complete with king size bed, sprung mattress and indoor wood burning stove. We have electrical sockets both in the kitchen and on the outside of the shower shed. You can book 'The Orwell' or ‘The Stour', both are 5 metre luxury Bell Tents with the same features. The tents are set in over half an acre of Suffolk countryside with beautiful views across the Alton water reservoir. You’ll have your own bathroom, housed in the Monty Don inspired ‘steel house’ where of course, you’ll find up to date facilities-hot/cold running water, enclosed shower, flushing loo etc. There is also our vintage Rice Horsebox converted kitchen where you will find an electric hob, fridge, kettle, coffee maker as well as crockery and utensils. Set on the edge of the lovely old village of Tattingstone with its 2 pubs and shops within a bike ride ride away, you’ll have all you need for the perfect relaxing break. The nearest train station to the site is Manningtree which connects to London Liverpool Street in just 55 mins. Included in the price is the following. Quilt, pillows and bed linen for 2 people. Towels for 2 people. A private bathroom with hot and cold running water (shower, basin and flushing loo). Tea (Yorkshire tea, is there any other?) and ground coffee. A bundle of George’s kindling for your log burner. Charge points in the field. Cast iron Indian fire bowl/BBQ. Blankets. Guest access You will have over 1/2 an acre of Suffolk countryside for you to enjoy. Please follow signs for parking and then walk the short distance to the site. The tents and amenities will be open for you to enjoy. Other things to note Unfortunately due to the set up of this site we do not accept children or babies. Sorry! ❤️
