Our apartment is perfect for a couple or a family to relax and explore this beautiful part of the country. The scenery around here is absolutely stunning and the local towns of Hebden Bridge and Halifax are very interesting both historically and artistically. We now have an Electric Vehicle Charging Point for the use of guests. The space It has been our life's passion to rebuild this wonderful coaching house into the most amazing country home imaginable! Far too magnificent to keep to ourselves,we invite you to come and enjoy it too! The apartment sleeps 4 people in 1 double and 1 twin room and is a wonderful space in the most beautiful countryside! It's a fabulous open-plan space - fresh, light, airy, modern, stimulating and ingenious with some extraordinary touches: Japanese style screens around the raised double bed in the main room, metal and perspex stairs leading to a cosy twin roof room - high tech meeting old timbers. Marvellous chunky beams, wide planked floors, original art on subtle walls. Guest access The apartment has its own entrance and has most modcons, including TV/DVD, CD/radio, games, books, iron+board etc. There is a very well equipped kitchen with gas cooker/oven/grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster etc. and a dining table for 6 people. Guests are welcome to use the sundeck (shared with owners and wildlife) overlooking the old mill pond, as well as a stone-flagged dining patio. Bring your fishing rod and try your luck with the Carp, Bream, Chubb and Perch in the millpond. We are serious old car nuts - especially Citroëns and Dan always welcomes anyone who is interested in old cars (he has a very large garage which people often disappear in to for hours!) We can sometimes even provide inside parking for that extra special old car. There is a separate laundry room which is available for guests to use and some guests have even made use of the piano in the music room (with a bit of prior notice). Other things to note It is a loft apartment so up two flights of stairs! We provide a welcome pack with a few essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, bread, eggs, muesli etc. and one of us is usually on hand if you need anything else.
