It is surrounded by the San Juan National Forest down the road from trailheads to the Weminuche Wilderness. The two units can be rented separately or together. A few miles outside of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, it offers ready access to outdoor recreation including Nordic and alpine skiing, hiking, fishing, big game hunting, snowmobiling and off-road vehicles, and horseback riding.
