Both villages feature excellent pubs and are just a half-mile walk from the cottage. Lechlade, 4 miles away, offers water sports on the River Thames, scenic walks along the Thames Path, and delightful artisan coffee shops for tea and homemade cake. Burford, 8 miles away, boasts the renowned Burford Garden Centre, Jeremy Clarkson’s pub – The Farmer’s Dog, and the Cotswold Wildlife Park. For further exploration, visit nearby attractions such as Buscot, Bibury, Blenheim Palace, White Horse - Uffington, Oxford, Cheltenham, and Bath.
