Mountain farm with wood-burning stove and pool

Renovated farmhouse, quiet, nature, in the Pyrenean foothills, for a restful and revitalizing stay. Relaxation on the terrace and in the pool in summer, a cozy corner next to a nice fire as soon as the weather gets cold! Ideally located, with direct access to beautiful mountain hikes and to discover major sites such as the Pic du Midi, the Cirque de Gavarnie, Lourdes, etc. In winter, a 40-minute drive from the ski resorts of the Bagnères or Gavarnie valleys: Le Grand Tourmalet, Cauterets, etc. The space You will stay in the East wing of the farmhouse; the other part is not yet available for rental. MAIN FLOOR: - Laundry room with washing machine - entrance with separate toilet - Large open space composed of a kitchen with a central island and a living room area with an old fireplace converted into a wood-burning stove, and an electric recliner sofa. - Outdoor access: Terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, ping pong table, slide, garden and swimming pool. UPPER FLOOR (attic level): - Large bedroom: double bed 140 and two additional sofa beds, a window and a skylight. - small bedroom: double bed 140 and a Velux window. - Landing: children's play area. - bathroom with shower and toilet. The pool is an above-ground structure measuring 3.70 m x 5.50 m, with a wooden deck that gives it the look and comfort of a built-in pool. An outdoor shower is located near the ladder for getting in and out of the water. Winter: underfloor heating for added comfort, and an aerothermal boiler. A wood-burning stove for the pleasure of comforting warmth and a mountain atmosphere. Guest access Your accommodation consists of the east wing of the farmhouse, and you have complete privacy. The West Wing is being renovated and is not occupied. The property has only one close neighbor, our son Bruno, the co-host. He lives in a separate barn across the garden/yard. The ground-floor section of the barn is his carpentry workshop. For your peace of mind, he adjusts the operating hours of the machines based on your outings. You have access to a large shared car park. The accommodation is equipped with a washing machine in the large laundry room. Access to your accommodation is either through the large common gate at the end of the access road, or from the left side, north of the long barn that borders it, which gives you direct access to the laundry room.
