Kasa Mikaela is not a typical rental house. It is our home. It began as a family project, conceived from the start for sharing, for getting together, and for enjoying time together. A place to unwind, slow down, and get back to what matters. We only open it for a few weeks so that other families can experience it and take care of it the way we do. The space Located in Bárcena de Cicero, in a beautiful natural setting among marshes and green meadows, Kasa Mikaela offers absolute tranquility while being close to some of the best attractions in the north. The house stands out for its spaciousness, luminosity, and versatility. Featuring high wooden ceilings, the rooms are designed for true relaxation: high-quality beds, premium linens, and private terraces in the three superior rooms. Each unit has its own outdoor table, ideal for starting your day with a cup of coffee surrounded by nature. The kitchen is one of the hearts of the house. Spacious, with a central island and fully equipped, it is designed for sharing: leisurely breakfasts, long lunches, and special dinners. A space where everything flows naturally. The main living room, measuring over 40 m², combines spaciousness and warmth. A large wooden table that seats 10, a sofa area for 8, a fireplace, and large windows that open directly to the outdoors. Everything is made with high-quality materials and has a cohesive and well-thought-out aesthetic. From here, you can access a 25-square-meter covered porch with an outdoor sofa area, perfect for reading, having a drink, or just taking a break. The garden, spanning over 800 m² (8,600 sq. ft.), features a fully equipped barbecue area, a table for up to 12 people, hammocks, and lounge chairs. A space designed for enjoyment, always respecting the tranquility of the surroundings. Downstairs, the “choco” – as it is known locally – is a multipurpose space of over 80 m² (860 sq. ft.) that offers a clear advantage: it can function as an additional bedroom with a premium sofa bed, a home theater with a 200-inch screen, a play area, or a separate space. It also has a full bathroom and a laundry area. The house is set up to accommodate various needs, including a portable crib and extra beds that can be placed in different rooms. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire home, which is designed and furnished like a real home, not like a standard vacation rental. The house has a large living area with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a central island, which includes all appliances, complete kitchenware, cookware, and tableware, designed so you can cook and enjoy yourself just like at home. The living room, featuring a fireplace, a large dining table, and a sofa area, opens directly onto the porch and the garden. The home is equipped with high-quality linens and towels, with attention to every detail to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. Outside, it features a private garden of over 800 m² with a barbecue area, an outdoor dining area, hammocks, and sun loungers, as well as a covered porch ideal for relaxing. The rooms are distributed over several floors, some with private terraces that provide additional spaces for relaxation. Downstairs, the “choco” provides a separate space of over 80 m² (860 sq. ft.) that includes a 4K home theater with a 200-inch screen, as well as a play area and a multipurpose area, making it a unique space within the home. It also has a full bathroom and a laundry area. The house also has Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and everything you need for a complete stay. Other things to note Kasa Mikaela is a family home designed for peaceful enjoyment and respect for the environment. • No parties, events, or activities that may cause a nuisance are allowed. In accordance with the regulations in force in Cantabria regarding community living and noise control, the property has an outdoor noise level monitoring system that detects any excessive noise that may affect the surrounding area. If the permitted levels are exceeded, the system generates alerts to prevent discomfort. • Please respect the neighbors' peace and quiet at all times. • The property has outdoor security cameras (entrance areas), for security purposes only.
