The space Inspired by the magic of the big screen, La Tuilerie du Cinéaste offers an immersive experience where each space becomes a film set. Film props, informative displays, scenic surprises… Everything is designed to immerse visitors in the world of the 7th art. Rather than sticking to specific movies, we opted for broad themes, allowing everyone to let their imagination run wild. As a result, each room in the cottage is a world unto itself, decorated by local artists, interior designers, and artisans to create a space that is at once cinematic, poetic, and deeply rooted in the Burgundy region. Guest access Access to the entire gîte Other things to note La Tuilerie du Cinéaste features a unique screening room. Partnerships with professionals and companies from the film industry occasionally enhance the experience offered at the gîte. Set in a 15,000 m² park with its own river running through it. You will stay in a former tile factory dating from 1820, now fully and lovingly restored. Originally, a tile factory was a place where tiles and bricks were made, located where clay was abundant, close to forests and transportation routes. Today, the site still bears visible traces of its industrial past. In the park, you can find old flat and round tiles, as well as bricks stamped with the name Courlon, testaments to the estate’s history. The charm of the stone and the old brickwork has been preserved to create an authentic, warm setting steeped in history.
