The hot ub will be prepared your your arrival so you can hop straight in with its starry curved ceiling canopy. Inside, from the stylish open-plan living area and fully equipped kitchen, to the luxurious bedroom, private bathroom and outdoor hot tub, every part of the retreat is yours to enjoy. Our boutique retreat is perfect for any occasion—whether it’s a romantic escape, a base for exploring the Ashby Canal and surrounding footpaths, a spontaneous staycation, or a memorable minimoon. There's private parking right outside, making arrival and unloading effortless, and you'll be able to check yourself in, so you can arrive whenever suits you after check-in begins. Guests have exclusive access to the entire Shepherd's Watch throughout their stay, giving you complete privacy to relax and enjoy the space at your own pace. Whether you're spending your time unwinding in the hot tub, enjoying a quiet morning coffee outdoors or curling up for a cosy evening inside, you'll have the whole retreat to yourselves with no shared spaces. Although The Shepherd's Watch is located on our farm, your accommodation and outdoor space are completely self contained. We respect your privacy throughout your stay, but we're nearby if you need anything. Other things to note We want your stay at The Shepherd's Watch to feel as relaxing and effortless as possible, so here are a few helpful details before you book. The hot tub is cleaned, checked and freshly prepared before every arrival, ready for you to enjoy throughout your stay. We simply ask that you replace the cover after each use to help maintain the water temperature and quality. For longer stays, we'll carry out a quick daily water check to keep everything sparkling clean. We'll always arrange a convenient time with you so we don't disturb your relaxation. The Shepherd's Watch has been created as a peaceful countryside retreat, perfect for couples looking to switch off and reconnect. There is no curfew on the hot tub, so you're welcome to enjoy it well into the evening. We simply ask that music is switched off by 11pm and that noise is kept to a minimum, allowing everyone to enjoy the tranquillity of Hall Farm. If you're staying up to admire the stars, we wholeheartedly encourage it! You'll find a selection of thoughtful touches waiting for you, including luxurious robes, flip-flops for the hot tub, premium bedding, fluffy towels and all those little extras that make your stay feel extra special. Hall Farm is also home to our much-loved dogs, including two miniature dachshunds who are wonderfully friendly and always keen to say hello. We do our best to keep them from interrupting your stay, but as this is their home too, you may see them around the farm. If you're uncomfortable around dogs, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss whether The Shepherd's Watch is the right fit for you. You'll also meet some of our other friendly farm animals during your stay. You're very welcome to say hello, but please remember to wash your hands afterwards, avoid feeding the animals and never throw anything into their fields. To help protect our livestock, grassland and beautiful countryside setting, we kindly ask guests not to release balloons or sky lanterns or use fireworks, sparklers, fire pits or disposable barbecues anywhere on the farm. A gas barbecue is provided during the summer months for your enjoyment. The Shepherd's Watch is designed for a maximum of two adult guests. Exclusive hire of Hall Farm can sometimes be arranged by prior enquiry. If you'd like to invite visitors during your stay, please speak to us first so we can approve this in advance. For the comfort of all guests, we don't accept children or pets. If you smoke or vape, we simply ask that you do so outside and use the lidded ash bucket provided on your patio to dispose of cigarette ends safely. Each of our properties has views over our grazing land and the rolling countryside beyond, so you may from time to time see us tending to animals or other guests taking a walk. If you have any questions before or during your stay, we're always happy to help while giving you all the privacy you need to enjoy your countryside escape.
