Opened in 2018, dog-friendly Kilburn Chicken Cottage has been hosting guests from all over the world. With one of the highest Airbnb ratings in the area, parents and children alike have loved coming to stay to look after their own flock of hens. This 3 bedroom cottage is situated in the beautiful North Yorkshire village of Kilburn, with fast EV charging in Thirsk nearby. You're spoilt for choice when it comes to great views, great food and entertaining hens. The space Kilburn is ideally situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with local landmark the Kilburn White Horse within sight from the garden. There's the Mouseman Visitors centre only a matter of yards away which has a lovely cafe inside that's open to the general public and the pub The Forresters Arms right next door. The next village along the road in Oldstead, is home to TV chef Tommy Banks' restaurant The Black Swan. There's also plenty of fabulous routes ideal for biking, hiking and exploring with the Cleveland Way only being 2 miles away. The house comes with various amenities, fibre-optic high speed broadband, a Google Chromecast stick to stream Netflix etc to the TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, deep fat fryer, herbs, spices, pots & pans....oh yes and 10 hens. That's right, fresh eggs every day! Don't worry a full guide of what to do and not to do will be given if you've never looked after hens before. There's also a butcher's a short walk away so you'll never be without sausage, bacon and eggs.
