The space The interior of La Bergerie has been completely redesigned to offer a warm, “mineral luxury” atmosphere. Under the original beams, which we have carefully preserved, you will discover a travertine floor that lends a natural elegance to the entire vacation rental. Living area: A fully equipped kitchen opens onto a bright living room. The combination of travertine flooring and wood creates a soothing atmosphere. Bathroom: A true sensory experience with a spacious walk-in shower (80 x 120). The design combines travertine with wood-effect earthenware, all nestled beneath the exposed beams. Bedroom: A relaxing space that connects directly to the outside. Outside: Follow the path of the sun We have designed the layout so that you can enjoy the best of every moment of the day thanks to two distinct spaces: The Wellness Terrace: Accessible from the bedroom, it houses your private spa. This is the perfect place to sunbathe or relax in the warm water, with guaranteed sunshine until late afternoon. La Terrasse Gourmande: Ideal for your meals, it offers a view that changes with the seasons. In the morning, it's adorned with a gentle mix of partial shade and partial sun for your breakfasts. In the evening, it becomes a pleasant, cool haven in the shade. An electric griddle is available for your grilling needs. Guest access Guest access You will enjoy a completely independent accommodation with private access. You can park your vehicles easily and securely on our property, Motorcycle and bicycle enthusiasts We provide a covered shelter for your motorcycles or bicycles. Your mounts will thus be perfectly protected from the weather. Location: The cottage is nestled in a small, very quiet, and authentic hamlet within our property, which also has guest bedrooms. For your gourmet desires, you will find a small village grocery store just 10 minutes away, as well as cheeses at the farm. For larger shopping trips, the supermarkets are located in Saint-Flour, 20 minutes away. Other things to note ☕ Welcome and essentials To make your arrival easier, we provide you with essentials: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, and coffee. 🚭 Indoor and Outdoor Areas (Cigarette Butts) The cottage is strictly non-smoking inside. Out of respect for the property and the surrounding nature, we ask that you do not throw cigarette butts in the garden or on the terraces. Ashtrays are available for smoking outside. Please leave the outdoor areas as clean as you found them. 🛁 Use of the HOT TUB The hot tub is prepared for your check in. We thank you in advance for showering before each use to preserve the water quality. For long stays, we ask that you allow us to check and clean the hot tub mid-stay. 🛒 Shops and Local Flavors The cottage is in the heart of nature; here are our recommendations for your supplies: In Védrines-Saint-Loup, 10 minutes away: A small grocery store with a bread delivery service (very convenient!). In Ruynes-en-Margeride, 15 minutes away: A bakery for your morning pastries. Saint-Flour is 20 minutes away: the nearest town with supermarkets for your main shopping needs. Our favorite: For truly good local cheese, we recommend Ferme Bonnafoux, just 10 minutes away. A must-see in Cantal! 🧥 Longer-term stays (15 days or more) The vacation rental is equipped with a washer-dryer, and you have a small clothesline. We provide all linens, which we will change mid-stay. 🤝 A bespoke stay We live on site at Le Clos de la Ronzière.
