Beautiful secluded Summer House near Bath

This space is truly unique. Built into the hillside at the convergence of and overlooking two valleys in the beautiful village of Combe Hay, 3 miles south of Bath. A stylish spacious cabin with bifold windows opening out onto a vine covered patio and a quarter acre of private lawn. Ultra fast WIFI, TV, roaring wood burning stove for the winter and under floor heating make this place a comfortable get away in the heart of the Somerset countryside. The space The Summer House was conceived in Lockdown during those long hot days of doing very little in the garden. Its evolved into the most perfect escape from the real world, perfectly secluded on a hillside overlooking the Somerset Valley of Combe Hay, one of Bath prettiest villages with the award winning pub, The Wheatsheaf just a 10 minute walk away. It's built into the side of the hill, like the Telly Tubby House, so is cool in Summer and cosy in winter. Large bifold doors at the front lead onto a cool, vine covered patio and half an acre of lawn beyond. The space is flooded with natural light from two large skylights, you can lie in bed with a cup of tea and look straight out at the uninterrupted view, its a little slice of paradise. There's an ensuite shower room with a heated towel rail and bidet toilet, a tv and a comprehensive kitchen area with a gas hob and oven. In the winter theres under floor heating or you can light the 8kw wood burner for toasty cosy nights by the fire and for the fire lovers there's a large fire pit on the patio which doubles as a bbq. Access is simple, you can drive straight up and theres room for two cars right outside. Guest access Guest have exclusive access to the property and the garden with a quarter acre of lawn overlooking the valley and the hills beyond. We live in the adjacent property on the other side of the hill. But you have your own private access through a shared gate at the bottom of the driveway. Other things to note The Summer House is set into the side of a south facing hillside on a 2 1/2 acre property. We live in the cottage on the other side of the hill. You have your own private access through a shared gate at the bottom of the driveway. We have two very friendly Black Labradors who may wander up to greet you on arrival. They get along fine with other dogs and people. If this is a problem for you please let me know and I’ll make sure they don’t come up. The property is fenced all around. If you have a dog that likes to wander then let us know and we can keep the gate closed at the bottom of the drive. In the far corner of the property there is a small section of footpath which is fenced off from the garden leading into fields either side, great access for dog walking.
