"Blockhütte" Quellental in wonderful surroundings

Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore. The space The cottage was completely renovated in 2019, without losing sight of the former charm. With about 30 square meters of living space, a double bed on the upper floor and a sofa bed on the first floor, the accommodation is most suitable for two but also for three people. A small, modern fitted kitchen with two ceramic hobs, a microwave with oven function and a fridge with freezer compartment are of course also available in addition to a pad coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster and a grill. The underfloor heating on the first floor provides cozy warmth, even in the cold season or in bad weather. There is a TV with satellite reception and a USB radio. Wi-Fi is of course available. The transmission rate is about 3.5 Mbit/s. Rather, you should enjoy the view from the window or even better use one of the three terraces and follow the sun around the house. The west terrace is located directly on a small pond, where frogs and many insects cavort. Fish are actually no longer found in our almost forty ponds. Since 2015, the pond system has been part of a comprehensive species protection project. Apart from a frog concert in the evening, the grazing Soay sheep or the kingfishers and sea eagles, which come to visit very often, you will not notice anything. Of course, there is a large swimming lake and a sauna, which are available to all residents in the Quellental.
