Box with a dock | Beautiful lakeside cottage

Pudełko is our private cottage right on the waterfront, freshly renovated, comfortably furnished for relaxation, not for casual rentals. There is a large terrace overlooking the water, a private dock, deck chairs, and a boat + pedal boat for your use. There is also a campfire by the lake, a barbecue, a swing, a sandbox, and a tree house. And plenty of freedom for a dog or cat. Inside: a couch, comfortable sleeping arrangements, reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and a kitchen equipped like at home. The space This little box is not a house furnished for rent; it's our private place by the lake. The cottage is located on the lake's first line, and its direct access to the water is its greatest asset. You can see the lake from the large garden, and you can reach your own dock in just a few seconds. There is a campfire right by the water, a barbecue, a smokehouse, deck chairs, and plenty of space to relax. A boat and a yellow pedal boat are also available. You can go out for morning coffee on the water, fish from a boat, swim on the lake, or visit the sandy beach of our friends a few houses away. It's one of the things we like best about this place — you don't have to rent anything or go anywhere; just go down to the water and enjoy. The private dock is located right next to the property and is for our guests only. It's still a bit wobbly, but we're working on it :) You can jump off it into the water, sit with a book, watch the sunset, or just spend some time by the lake doing absolutely nothing. The property is fenced, which gives you a lot of freedom when staying with children or pets. Children have a tree house at their disposal, the sight of which makes their eyes sparkle with delight, as well as a large sandbox with a lovely set of toys chosen with love. This is one of those places where the youngest can spend most of the day outdoors, and adults can just relax during that time. The cottage itself has recently undergone a major renovation and has been decorated the way we would have decorated it for ourselves. Inside, there is a living area with a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a sleeping loft. There is underfloor heating, air conditioning with a heating function, and a Jøtul stove, so you can comfortably come even in the off-season. The kitchen is equipped like in a normal home: a full-size refrigerator with a freezer, a large dishwasher, an electric stove, a kettle, a French press, a coffee maker, a blender, and a microwave. There are also spices, olive oil, coffee, tea, and proper dishes, so you don't have to bring half the kitchen with you. The cottage is comfortable for 4 people. There is a very comfortable 160-cm mattress on the low mezzanine, and a fold-out double sofa with a pull-out bed system downstairs. Linens and towels are of course included. And if you feel like doing something more than nothing, you'll find hiking and biking trails, forests, and plenty of quiet roads for short and long trips in the area. You can go for a walk, hop on a bike, or just get in the car and drive off. And if you don't feel like doing anything in particular, you can just sit on the deck with a coffee, lie on a lounge chair, go down to the dock, and look at the lake. And in the evening, light a fire, sit by the fire, and let the day end a little slower than usual. Guest access The box is practically all yours. You can use the cottage, garden, dock, water equipment and amenities as if it were your own place for a few days. The only exceptions are those marked as private: one drawer in the bathroom, one drawer in the kitchen, and one closet door. Besides, everything is for you - feel at ease and make the best use of the place. 😊 Other things to note The mezzanine is quite low. It has a very comfortable 160-cm mattress, but if you feel uncomfortable in places where the ceiling is close to your head, it's better to consider this before booking. You can sleep downstairs on the sofa bed - there is a separate mattress for sleeping. The private dock is for the exclusive use of our guests. It's built on barrels and can be a bit wobbly, which is part of its charm for us, but it's worth knowing before you arrive. We promise - it will quickly become clear on-site why we had to build it quickly and on an emergency basis :) The property is fenced and works well for stays with children and pets. However, it's worth knowing that exceptionally clever dogs that specialize in digging under fences may see the fence as a challenge. If your dog has a talent for such actions, we recommend a little extra vigilance.
