Recently renovated from a 1950s home, the gîte is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped modern kitchen, a comfortable lounge with sofas and TV (UK & French channels), and a wood burner for cooler evenings. Upstairs are two inviting bedrooms—a king-size room and a twin room—ideal for families or friends. Step outside and you’ll discover your own sunny terrace, perfect for outdoor dining or a quiet morning coffee. Beyond that, the large shared gardens (2500m²) offer plenty of space for children to play and adults to unwind, all with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Guests also enjoy access to a heated 8m x 4m swimming pool (securely fenced), a pétanque court, and outdoor games—perfect for relaxed family fun. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome, making it a great choice for a complete family getaway. Located just a short drive from the medieval village of Vouvant and within easy reach of forests, lakes, and family-friendly attractions, Chez Le Pinier is an ideal base for both relaxing days and active adventures. Whether you’re exploring the local countryside, enjoying time by the pool, or simply soaking up the peace and quiet, this is a place to truly switch off and feel at home. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of this Gîte, plus the shared garden, courtyard parking area and swimming pool. The owners (Kerry & Andy) live in a stone cottage attached to Chez Le Pinier Gîte - this is not accessible to guests and has its own entrance. Other things to note The Gîte is set in a quiet hamlet with neighbouring cottages, so is not a suitable venue for parties or celebrations. A 'Quiet Nights' policy is operated from 10pm until 9am each day. The house will be clean and tidy for your arrival and we expect it to be left in a similar condition.
