Home in Monschau

The house was built over 100 years ago and completely renovated and modernized in 2020. It is located in the quiet Eifel village of Höfen, the gateway to the Eifel National Park. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Our house is located directly on the famous Eifelsteig and invites you to beautiful hikes or bike rides. The historic old town of Monschau is 5 minutes by car and Lake Rursee is about 25 km away. Due to the proximity to the border triangle, there are numerous excursion possibilities! The space The first floor consists of an open living and dining area, large hallway and large bathroom area with sauna. The built-in kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, milk frother, espresso machine, Philips Gourmet coffee maker, egg cooker, waffle iron, blender with accessories and of course various other cooking utensils. In the dining room there is a large real wood table with ample seating, a highchair and a comfortable bench. In the living room, there is a corner set that can be converted into a double bed (1.40 x 2.20 m). The programmable and remote-controlled pellet stove creates a cozy atmosphere. A smart TV (Wi-Fi and CI slot) is also available. In the "spa area" there is a large sauna, two showers, several seats, two sinks, a urinal and a toilet. A hairdryer is also available. The entire basement (also in the shower) is equipped with floor heating. On the upper floor there are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are equipped with double beds (2 x 1.80 x 2.00 m / 2 x 1.60 x 2.00 m) and each has a smart TV. One room is combined as a sleeping and play room, with pool table and fold-away bed that can be folded up and down as needed. With the sleeping option in the living room, up to 10 people can spend a pleasant vacation in the summer house. A crib can be provided if needed. The bathroom on the upper floor is fully equipped with a toilet, sink and shower and of course a hairdryer. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house as well as on the veranda and terrace. Towels, dish towels, high-quality bedding, wood pellets and toilet paper are provided. In the bathrooms there is shower gel for hair and body. Dish soap and dishwasher powder are also available. Outside there is a terrace with seating and a grill as well as a large covered veranda, illuminated and heatable. Ideal for smokers. There are various shopping possibilities in the surrounding area (Lidl, Aldi, Real, Kaufland etc. about 8 km away). Guest access In front of the house there are 4 parking spaces available.
