"the house on the hill" in Tuscany - with a pool

"La Casa Sulla Collina" is located in a small village near Aulla. With its hillside location, it is surrounded by beautiful nature. From its terraces and the large balcony, it offers a beautiful view of the hills of the Lunigiana. You can easily reach the sights of this wonderful region: Cinque Terre, the Apuan Alps, the Terme di Equi or the beach of Massa. La Spezia, Pisa and Florence are ideal for a city trip. The space The "casa sulla collina" is located at the exit of a small municipality near Aulla in the Lunigiana region in the north of Tuscany. It is located on the back of a hill and therefore offers a wonderful all-round view. We, a 5-member, very active family, use the house as a second home and therefore have it fully equipped. The building itself consists of a low-parterre with adjoining rooms directly adjacent to the terrace and outdoor area as well as the ground floor with the living rooms. In the summer, a 4.12 x 200 x 122 cm pool / frame pool is available. You can cool off and enjoy yourself wonderfully in it. The ground floor can be entered via a four-stage, wide staircase. You then enter a hallway from which the living rooms and bedrooms leave and which centrally houses a cozy pellet fireplace for the cool days. On the right hand you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table. You cook on a gas hob and have an electric oven at your disposal. For the dirty dishes, there is a dishwasher and coffee friends will find a fully automatic coffee machine of the DeLonghi brand. A large fridge and freezer combination keeps the food fresh. It is really cozy in the armchair, right by the fireplace. Opposite the kitchen is a living room with couch, smart TV, Bluray player and a small music system. We also have various board games for cozy family evenings in the cabinets or books to read on the shelf. Of course, you will also find CDs for the music system. At the end of the hallway are the bedrooms and the bathroom. The "Bedroom 1" is equipped with a 160x190 double bed, a dresser and a very large closet. The furniture is in a white shade. "Bedroom 2" has a 140x190 double bed and a spacious dresser for the clothes. Through this room you can also access the spacious south-west balcony, which encompasses the entire side of the building and offers great views of the Apuan Alps. "Bedroom 3" – our children's room – has two single beds measuring 90 × 200 and a bunk bed with two beds of the same size. All beds have new mattresses, so the beds are not saggy! The daylight bathroom is functionally furnished. It features a sink, toilet and shower cubicle with various nozzle and massage functions. In the Tief-Parterre, which can be reached via an external staircase, you have access to our "summer kitchen". There is a large dining table with chairs, an additional fridge and freezer combination as well as additional storage space for travel bags, bicycles or the like. There is also a sink and is available for use. On the level of the low-parterre is also the terrace, a permanently installed barbecue grill, as well as a covered shelter with a dining table and chairs. In addition, you will find the sun loungers for the cozy sunbathing in the summer kitchen. An outdoor shower is installed on the terrace wall to cool off. From the covered shelter, you can let the days come to an end and enjoy the sunset – perhaps with a cool spritz – who knows. Need to Know: All windows and the balcony door in the living area have screens that can be closed if needed and shutters for blackout. Throughout the house you have free Wi-Fi. You can park a vehicle right next to the house, on your own property. Other vehicles can easily be parked along the road passing by the house. What can you experience? The picturesque port town of La Spezia is 35 minutes by car, the famous Cinque Terre can be reached in a 45-minute drive. The small but beautiful spa town of Equi Terme with its thermal baths is 20 minutes away. If you like to refresh yourself in the cool sea, you can reach the sandy beach of Sarzana, the so-called Marinella, in 35 minutes. The nearest bar, shopping as well as pizzerias and restaurants are located in Serricciolo and Pallerone, about 2 km away and the train station in Aulla 10 minutes away. The location of the house between the National Park of the Apuan Alps and the Apennines invites you to walk and cycle. There is no smoking in the house itself – this applies to both tobacco and alternative products such as vapes, e-shishas, etc. Please keep it that way! Guest access You will either be greeted in person by an Italian-speaking friend who lives in the area, or you will receive the key via a key safe, the location and combination of which we will let you know shortly before your arrival. Other things to note You can expect a private accommodation and not a commercial holiday business! The nearest train station is in Aulla ("Aulla Lunigiana", 8 km by car, 11 minutes drive). The nearest bus stop is on the road going downhill into the village, about 200 m from the house.
