Romantic Old School House, Pool, nr Saint Emilion

Spectacular setting beside an ancient abbey, commanding stunning views over the Dordogne valley to Saint Emilion. Tomorrow, a short walk to the quiet village square for a memorable lunch at the local restaurant? Or perhaps an amble through the vineyards that surround this special place, before a visit to the old cobbled streets of St Foys or Bergerac? The space Pujols is a sleepy, historic hilltop village commanding panoramic views across the wonderful Dordogne valley. Just 50 minutes drive from lovely Bordeaux city and about 15 minutes drive to amazing Saint Emillion. The family holiday home has been created as a relaxed, comfortable haven. It combines the charm of French living with the comforts and facilities of the modern day. Great and cosy as a memorable place for a romantic break for two people, the home is like a tardis, and has loads of bedrooms to accommodate 12+. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house. As our holiday home - when we are not there, it's all yours! Other things to note The house is beside a church and the bells toll between 7am and 11pm - with an additional happy burst at the start of the day (7am) and the end (7pm). Most guests find the bells timeless and charming - some find them a little intrusive; those in the bedroom facing the church may especially notice the 7am peel! Tip: we suggest light sleepers bring earplugs, or use a different bedroom. The large, spacious house has a small garden to the front (lovely for breakfast in the morning sun), then to the rear : a large lawn and huge, rambling garden that descends off down the hillside. The 10x4m private pool (comfortable salt system) is set in a beautiful terraced area, with a large, shaded cloister to one side. It has magical views down to the old church across the lane nearby, yet is completely private and has no onlookers.
