Our home is so conveniently located to the NY state thruway yet after arriving you will feel all alone. The space Enjoy your own private getaway in this 2 bedroom unit located at the end of a quiet dead-end street between Saugerties and Woodstock. This newly renovated rental unit is attached to the owner’s part-time residence. A private ground floor entrance leads into an open living room/kitchenette combo with comfortable furnishings including a sofa bed and Wi-Fi television. The kitchenette is equipped with all necessities, salt pepper and a few spices. The butcher block island with stools serves as a prep and serving area and cooking facilities include a two burner cooktop, a small multi- function toaster/broiler/convection oven combo, a microwave and full size refrigerator. A sem-open stairway with landing leads to the second floor with two separate bedrooms and a large modern bath with a corner stall shower. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed with a comfortable pillow-top mattress. The second smaller bedroom/ office combo has a twin bed and desk. Each bedroom has some space for clothing storage including hanger accommodations. After a day of shopping in the quaint village of Saugerties, skiing or hiking in the nearby Catskill mountains or exploring historic Woodstock, relax under the stars in the hot tub(bathing suits please). If a morning or evening workout is needed , the rental includes access to a home gym universal gym ,elliptical bike a few weights and yoga mats and smart television and futon to just relax. Guest access Guests are encouraged to enjoy our spacious property. Relax in hot tub, recharge in gym, or just sit back and take in the majestic Catskill Mountain View’s from the rolling yard. Other things to note The gym is accessed from the exterior of the home and is climate controlled with a supplemental heater, ceiling fan and oscillating fan. We suggest weather appropriate attire. We will be happy to greet you upon check-in. Or you’re welcome to go it alone if you prefer. Just let us know your preference. Our layout is so simple we’ve strived to make your check-in a breeze. We own a lakehouse about 40 miles north of Saugerties that we normally stay at when we have guests in the unit. If we are going to be on the property at any time during your stay, we do our very best to give notice. I sometimes stop to get mail and check the spa balance. You can, for the most part, assume you will have the place to yourself. Winter storms and the chores that follow would dictate any variables to that policy. Car sharing and cab service are in the area, but times can be somewhat limited. You will park your cars in the driveway a few feet from the listing. Our home is on a quiet cul-de-sac.
