The house sleeps 9 comfortably in 5 bedrooms and with 3 bathrooms (no sofa beds). There is a large open plan kitchen, dining and family area with bi-fold doors leading onto a patio and large south facing garden. In addition a separate sitting room for any one looking for some quiet time. A short 5- 10 minute walk to village shops, restaurants, pubs and mainline train station. Bi-fold doors lead onto a large patio area with plenty of space for outdoor dining and a large south facing garden. The downstairs bedroom can be made up as a twin or super king sized bed and is immediately opposite the downstairs shower room. New Forest ponies, donkeys and cattle can often be seen walking down the road past the house. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a king bed and en-suite, a further double with a view out over the garden, one single room, one room with bunk bed and a family bathroom. Please note that the upper bunk is recommended for over 7's only and up to a maximum weight of 12 stone/70kg but we do not use it for adults. Wanting a car free holiday? South West trains run a regular service from Waterloo to Weymouth with stops at Sway, Ashurst, Southampton, Poole and Bournemouth amongst others. Cross Country trains run from Manchester to Bournemouth and stops include Winchester and Southampton. There is also a local branch line to the Georgian market town of Lymington from where it is possible to take a ferry to the Isle of Wight. Cycle hire is available within a short walk of the house. Nearest beach is 8.1 miles.
