Other things to note Enjoy the view over the fields: the Kleinwindstein cottage is a small cozy semi-detached house with a south-south east-facing terrace and garden. Location The house is located on a only one-sided, rather low-traffic road in the outskirts of Neukirchen, about 2 km from the Danish border. Shopping facilities are about 2 km away in the center of town. The nearest swimming spot is about 2 km away: Hölltoft Tief. A good alternative is the Danish peninsula Romo (about 50 minutes by car). The Emil-Nolde Museum with its beautiful garden and cafe is about 15 minutes walk from the property. You can start your trip to the island of Sylt from the nearby train station in Klanxbüll (about 8 km). Facilities The 95 sqm cottage can accommodate up to six people. In the lower level of the house there is a small entrance hallway, a large bathroom (incl. Sauna (chargeable: €3 per 30 min.), ground-level shower and bathtub), a large living-kitchen area with dining and sofa area and TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes dishes, pots and pans, a coffee machine, a kettle, toaster, blender, stove with oven, fridge with freezer compartments and a dishwasher. A washing machine is also available to you. For the evening together in the large sitting area, you will find a games collection in the living room closet. Kleinwindstein sleeps six, making it ideal for family stays, but also for couples to relax from everyday stress. On the upper floor there is a large 2 × 2 m double bed in the master bedroom with a continuous mattress. In the larger children's bedroom there are two drawer beds with two sleeping places each. The main ventilation windows downstairs, as well as the skylights upstairs are equipped with fly screens, there are blinds at each window. On the terrace there is a seating area with table and bench, two chairs and a parasol. In the garden, wood is stored for free use. There is a bicycle shelter equipped with a tarpaulin for your brought bikes. There you will also find a large ball grill for use. Features The garden offers space for adults, children and four-legged friends. Dogs are welcome. We are happy to provide fast fiber optic internet for our guests. In addition, a new stereo system as well as an internet radio can be used and your favorite music can also be streamed on vacation. A car parking space is available on the property. For guests arriving with an electric car, the in-house wallbox (50 cent/kWh) is available. There are neighbors to the right and left, to the front and back everything is free to the horizon. The south-southost terrace is located on the side of the house facing away from the street and gives an unobstructed view of nature on pastures and meadows. In the garden there is a canoe available, which guests are welcome to use for a canoe trip on Lake Hülltofter Tief, about 500 m away. During the birding times, the resting places of the animals are often directly close to the garden and the sky is dotted with numerous swarms. For amateur hornithologists, there is a lot to observe both directly at the house and in the nearby nature reserve Gotteskoog.
