Plenty of parking available, on a private street just off of Elkhart Lake entrance. Elkhart Lake is a small town, and home to The Osthoff Resort & a lake with pristine, crystal clear water. Family friendly, with plenty of things to do, and wonderful restaurants, coffee shops & breweries. Nearest town is Plymouth, WI, approximately 8 miles away, with large grocery stores, WalMart & many chain restaurants. Other things to note Elkhart Lake is one of the most beautiful in WI yet only an hour from Milwaukee and 2.5 hours from Chicago. The lake is spring fed, deep and clean. In summer, all water sports are allowed, though Sundays are blessedly quiet with no motor boats allowed. (One can actually swim from one end of Elkhart Lake to the other.) In winter, cross country skiing or skating on the lake is a great pastime. There is also a path around the lake that leads into the Village. Easy walk to Elkhart Lake's downtown, to enjoy the area.
