Spacious Twin Room, Gorgeous Cottage, Birchover

A lovely twin room, with dedicated bathroom, in traditional cottage in beautiful rural village of Birchover in the Peak District National Park. A stones throw from Chatsworth, Bakewell and Haddon Hall, this is a fantastic place to base yourself to see the Peak District. With access to shared kitchen, living room and south facing seating area out the front, this home is peaceful and next to 2 local pubs, amazing walks and scenary. I have good wifi, but no TV. The space The cottage is bigger than it looks. You have your own bathroom, and a kettle with tea and coffee in your room. The shared kitchen is available for cooking, and has a seating area for eating in as well. There is also a dining table in the shared living room. The cottage is south facing so receives the sunshine all day and sitting outside having breakfast or a cuppa is really lovely. Birchover is nestled next to Stanton Moor and the home of the famous 9 Ladies Stone Circle, and several other stone cirlces and Neolithic and mesolithic rock art and cup and ring marks. The village itself has two pubs and is lovely and quiet. You can park for free on the road opposite the cottage very easily. Please note no pets allowed. Guest access If the host is available she will greet you and show you around, otherwise there is a lockbox out front on the wall to the right of the gate to get the front door key.
