Vacation rental with balcony at 4,921 feet (1,500 meters)

We are Christina (designer) and Matthias (photographer) and love the mountains, the connection to nature and the beauty of architecture. Our vision was to make this beautiful place accessible to you and offer you the opportunity to consciously relax in nature and come to rest. Our apartment is deliberately minimalist and yet comfortably designed. The space Our apartment has a well-thought-out room concept. The living and sleeping areas are deliberately connected to create a spacious and open atmosphere. The 160-cm-wide double bed is located in a niche that creates a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. This makes the living space feel particularly large and open. We have tried to combine minimalism and pared-down design. Our idea is to use calm and clarity to direct attention to the essentials: time for oneself and time for each other. Instead of a TV, you will find a small bookshelf – and countless nature and mountain adventures await you at your doorstep. Whether you want to freshen up after a day in the mountains or simply enjoy a relaxing shower in the morning, our modernly designed bathroom with toilet offers you everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our kitchen is also minimalist, and yet you will find everything you need for cooking. We are absolute minimalists and convinced that less is more. You will find a shelf for your clothes as well as an open shelf for shoes or other essentials. The apartment also features a small storage room for your suitcases. The apartment is equipped with black pleated blinds for shade. We have converted a former storage room into a small children's room or a sleeping area for a third person. There you will find a 200x90cm mattress. This room is connected to the large room via a small opening. Since we have children ourselves, we deliberately did not install a door or partition. It feels like a little cave – and you are very tempted to retreat there for your own nap. The apartment has a balcony facing the southeast. At night, you can see the stars perfectly from there, and depending on the season, you have sun until about 4 pm. Note: Italian feeling and risk of sunburn included. Guest access Our apartment is on the 3rd floor of an older house at an altitude of 1,500 m. Please note that there is no elevator. The location is particularly convenient, as the Faschinajoch connects the Große Walsertal with the Bregenzerwald and can be reached via several mountain passes. Located about 200 m opposite the valley station or the Faschina cable cars, you are optimally connected. An outdoor parking space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For further excursions, there are bus stops to Damüls or Sonntag/Stein, which are about 100 m away. After your booking, you will receive an email in which we request all the important information. 1–14 days before your arrival, you will receive another email with all the important information about check-in, the guest card, and a few insider tips for the region. This allows you to pick up your key completely contactless from 2 pm on the day of your arrival. Other things to note Easy check out Every stay comes to an end. On the day of departure, you can still have breakfast in the apartment and then check out by 10:00 am. We ask you to leave the apartment swept clean – that is, as you found it. You then simply return the key to the lockbox. Parking The property has general parking spaces that are included in the price. However, the first-come-first-serve principle applies here. Facilities The kitchen has a full stove without an oven, a sink, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. In addition to dishes and cutlery, you will find a Nespresso machine including 4 capsules per stay, pots, pans, a cutting board, dishwashing liquid, dishcloths and paper towels, dishwasher tablets, and salt and pepper. In the bathroom, you will find hand soap, plenty of toilet paper and a hair dryer. Linens and towels are of course included. Vacation with child Families are welcome here! The apartment is designed for 3 people. We are happy to provide a small mattress for children. Unfortunately, we do not have a crib or highchair. Cleaning The price includes water, electricity, heating, bed linens, towels and final cleaning. The city tax of approximately €3 per person/night is automatically calculated during your booking. Wifi Free WiFi is available in our vacation apartment. The internet connection can fluctuate depending on the weather. It is not really suitable for large uploads and downloads, but it is absolutely sufficient for everyday use.
