Ideal for families, groups of friends and quiet corporate stays. The space Welcome to a unique and private cottage area by the water's edge on Ottersøy in Nærøysund. Here you rent the entire property for yourselves – a secluded place surrounded by forest, water, and nature, without neighbors looking in. This is a perfect place for families, groups of friends, or quiet company stays where you want plenty of space, comfort, and nature experiences. The property consists of several buildings with a total of 11 permanent beds in five bedrooms. The main cabin has a spacious living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bright winter garden with stunning views of the water. The kitchen is equipped with two ovens, a dishwasher, a microwave, several refrigerators and freezers, and complete tableware for up to 20 people. Outside you will find large terraces on several levels, a barbecue hut with room for many around the fireplace, a wood-fired sauna with panoramic views of the water, a hot tub, an outdoor shower and a private jetty with swimming and fishing opportunities. The property also has large outdoor areas that are perfect for play, outdoor meals, and cozy evenings together. The bathroom has running water, shower, double sink, washing machine and dryer. The toilet solution consists of a modern Cinderella combustion toilet and an outhouse. This is a place where you can relax, enjoy the silence, fish, swim, barbecue, or just sit in the winter garden and look out over the water. The entire area is exclusively at your disposal during your stay. The property is therefore not suitable for loud parties or events. Guest access Guests have the entire property exclusively at their disposal during their stay. This includes the main cabin, the winter garden, all five bedrooms, the barbecue cabin, the sauna, the jacuzzi, the dock, the outdoor shower, the outdoor areas and the large terraces. The property is secluded by the water with no close neighbors, so you can enjoy the nature and silence in private surroundings. There is parking at the property, and the last part of the access is via a private path (500 m). It takes 5-6 minutes to walk. Any private storage spaces or rooms marked as private are not accessible to the guests. Other things to note The property is located in a completely private location by the water in scenic surroundings, with approx. 500 meters of access from a public road via a private road. We are happy to meet you upon arrival, give you the grand tour, and explain how the facilities work so you can get a good start to your stay. The property has running water, electricity and Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a shower, double sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. The toilet solution consists of a modern Cinderella combustion toilet and an external toilet. There are simple instructions for use on site, and we are happy to show you how the toilet works at check-in. The sauna, hot tub, jetty, diving board and swimming area are used at your own risk. Children must always be supervised by an adult by the water. We want to offer a quiet and pleasant stay, and the property is best suited for families, groups of friends and quiet company stays.
