Pennines View
Pennines View
Description
Immerse yourself in this area of national outstanding beauty in the Northern Pennines. The Pennines View is 2 self contained properties next to each other with 2 jacuzzi baths for added luxury. Ideal for families or friends travelling together who like to have their own personal space. Walk or cycle to explore local geo trails, visit market towns and attractions, dine outside, star gaze by the fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine as the bubbles of the jacuzzi melts the stress of the day away The space sleeps up to 8 people, 2 main bedrooms and 2 large sofa beds. Comprises 2 Airbnb properties, Noah's Rest and The View, overlooking the Wear Valley. Pennines View is a beautiful 15th century building with renovated annexes. It is located within the North Pennines, a UNESCO local geopark which has open heather moors, peatlands and rare wildlife right on the doorstep. Noah's Rest is the first property on the ground floor which has direct access to the patio. The kitchenette opens out into the living area which has a large leather sofa bed for extra guests. Although the property sleeps up to 4 people, it is more ideally suited for couples, families or 2 friends due to size. The View is the second property on the first floor directly above Noah's Rest, and has a private access. It is a larger property with kitchen (electric hob only, no oven), dining table, and large leather sofa bed in the living room. The main bedroom is spacious with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table with drawers and a reading chair. Views from the property are breathtaking. attractions: High Force Raby Castle Beamish Durham Cathedral Hadrian's wall and more local pub 1.2 miles local shop 1.8 miles local Italian restaurant in Stanhope 4.1 miles Guest access key safe with code outside door for access Other things to note Air bnb shares information on properties located within 1hr drive to National Parks. Pennines View is within 1hr drive to Northumberland National Park, not North Yorkshire Moors National Park as stated on profile. We have a maintained farm track accessed by most cars easily. I drive a Nissan Note and have no issues. Sports cars or cars with lowered suspension can park at the bottom of the farm track and walk a short distance to Pennines View. Please inform host if this is required. We are often out with our dogs Seth and Tonmy when we are working on the land and you may see them during your stay.
