This delightful Grade II listed cottage nestling in the picturesque Peak District benefits from being only a few steps away from the village store, tearoom, 2 cracking pubs & Rafters restaurant ! Cycle on the Monsal Trail or walk in the stunning grounds at Chatsworth House, both are easily accessible and glorious views await. A visit to the nearby Bakewell to sample the infamous Bakewell Pudding, is also a must! Our aim has been to make The Bobbin, an extremely comfortable 'home from home' . The space This cosy end cottage is part of an old Stocking Mill and is split over three floors and comprises: Ground Floor: Kitchen and Sitting Room with dining area First Floor: Double Bedroom Second Floor: Twin Room and Family Bathroom We love having families to stay, however, our listing states 4 people and if you are a family of 5 (ie 4 people + baby) you may find the cottage too confined for your needs. There is a shared Courtyard to the rear, accessible from the kitchen with table and chairs and a secure outhouse for the freezer, laundry and bicycles. Re children playing outside, please be advised there is not a lockable gate to close off the Courtyard. Please also note: The staircase is steep and may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm and very young children (no stair gates) - please contact if you would like to discuss further. The cottage is Grade II listed and has a low doorway to the kitchen. Guest access There is free street parking very close to the cottage and Guests have walking access via the right hand side of the building and via the kitchen to the Courtyard at the rear of the cottage. Other things to note All crockery, cutlery and glassware are taken away and put through a dishwasher in between each set of Guests Wood Burning Stove with a few logs to get you going (during Winter months - December/January & February) More logs available to purchase from Bakewell Books, DVDs and Board Games Complementary x2 Soap, x2 Shower/Bath Gel and x2 Shampoo for your use White Bath Towel for each guest and x1 Hand Towel 100% White Cotton Bedlinen Divan Beds with pocket sprung mattresses Feather Pillows & Non Allergenic Pillows available Wooden and padded coat hangers Travel Cot with bottom sheet and Highchair all available on request Re Kitchen: Washing up liquid, Liquid hand soap, Dishcloth, Pan scrubber (1), Washing up brush (1), Tea Towels (2), Dettox, x2 toilet rolls etc are all provided Recycling bins are in the courtyard
