Sleeping high on the Veluwe with barrel sauna

The Hamermolen is a special meeting house, in an open place in the middle of nature, next to the stream and forest, adjacent to meadow with horses. A special place for awareness and beautiful encounters. Specially designed TINY sleeping studios, where simplicity is the power. Pleasant living spaces (see photos) for reading, games, a nice movie in the "bios," yoga or meditation. Outside, various corners, hammocks and on request, private use of sauna and also a nice tandem for rent. The space The TINY sleeping studio can be accessed from the outside and has its own sanitary facilities (toilet, sink, shower). You reach your bed via a special staircase and look at the starry sky from your bed. The 2 separate beds against each other provide a lovely large double bed. There is a chair and writing area in the room. You have access to your own sleeping studio, directly from the outside and to the Loods building, where the shared kitchen is and a space for yoga, boxing pole and bios. Furthermore, the large yard with different corners and hammocks to chill out, the terrace and the stream. You can make private use of the barrel sauna on request to reserve for a certain time. Costs 30 euros per 2-hour session. Please bring your own towels and bathrobe/slippers, otherwise they can also be used at an additional cost from us. Please note: the sauna can also be booked by other guests, we always coordinate that. The tandem can be used for small trips to the supermarket, for example, or rented for 30 euros per day. In consultation and at an additional cost (7.50 euros), washing machine and dryer can be used, provided we are present. We like to be in contact with you as a guest and also monitor the need for peace and space for everyone. There are also sometimes opportunities to participate in yoga or meditation in the early morning. Requesting a coaching session is one of the possibilities. See also our websites. A movie night in the Loods is possible on request, please contact us. We have a Hamermolen selection available for you, and for multiple guests, we make a choice. Depending on the presence of others, there may be contact with guests from the other 4 (separate) rooms, on the terrace or in the Loods, if you need to. However, it is also possible to be completely on your own, there is plenty of space! Various board games and books are available to borrow. The surroundings are very green and leafy. From our place, you can walk into the woods for hours. The Hamermolen itself as an industrial monument, inspiring and surprising. Veluwetrail: great opportunities to "get lost" with or without your horse in the forest! Your horse can stay with the neighbors in the horse boarding house. Palace 't Loo, the Apenheul, Berg en Bos, Radio Kootwijk and the Julianatoren are nearby. Park de Hooge Veluwe for beautiful cycling routes. Nearby and in Apeldoorn, there are some options for dinner. Having something delivered to De Hamermolen and then eating on one of the terraces or guest rooms is also an option. Everything is easy to reach by bike and car. Public transportation connections are nearby. The Maarten van Rossumpad runs along De Hamermolen and from us you can walk to Het Leesten. Good and quickly accessible from the A1. Parking is free on the premises (in the driveway, out of sight). You can park your bicycles in the yard in designated places. Charging the electric bicycles is possible if guarded and not in the rooms, due to fire hazard. You can use the shared kitchenette in De Loods with fridge, combi microwave to make your own breakfast. Here you can also store your own drinks and any other food you bring. Other bicycles are available for rent nearby in Apeldoorn or Hoenderloo. Walking routes are ready for you. Guest access Lounge, Laundry, Library, Lab when the main building is open because we or our team members are present. The Loods is always available to guests with fine accommodation and pantry. During your stay We are not always present ourselves, but are usually available for good conversation or coaching. For tourist information, we would like to refer you to the internet.
