Hollyhock House
"Hollyhock House" is surrounded by flower and herb gardens, raised veggie bed, fruit trees and lovely sloping tree-lined hills, all of which can be enjoyed from new screened sun-porch. Brooksville is surrounded by water and parks for endless fun. The space Hollyhock House is a renovated 1906 farmhouse secluded from the street and neighbors by mature cedar, fir, spruce, birch and ash trees and surrounded by gorgeous vegetable, flower and herb beds – more each year! The house features hardwood floors in each room, many windows, and a 14′ x14′ screened sun porch, which many guests use as a breakfast room or home office. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, gas stove and lobster pot, of course! All linens are provided and beds will be made up for you when you arrive. Eat outside at the picnic table, or, on a chilly evening, gather at the fire pit on the outdoor chairs and swing. Curl up at night to watch your favorite shows on the 40" Roku smart TV (bring your own streaming subscriptions). . Guest access The entire house and grounds are exclusively for the use of guests. I live elsewhere in Brooksville. If guests are staying for more than a week, I may come over to mow the lawn or retrieve veggies from the garden. Other things to note I rent by the week from Saturday to Saturday. Prices include Maine sales tax which is required by the state.
