All new bedrooms, and bathrooms, plus space for a second family, even giving the grandparents some quiet private space. 2 en-suite bedrooms, 6 bedrooms in all. Extra space in the Loft Lounge can be used for extra space in exceptional circumstances at a fee. 4 bathrooms in all, plus a guest loo, provide the luxury and space needed on a holiday with extended family. The open-plan main living area lends itself to relaxed holidays and creating memories. The kitchen is equipped with everything one would need, including washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, air fryer, Nespresso, toaster, gas hob, two ovens and a super large pantry cupboard. One cannot spend an entire day at the beach, so the pool is added entertainment for the whole family. Besides the super large sunny swimming pool, we have catered for children, including a secret treehouse, swings, kids table and chairs, finger snooker, ride-on-toys, pool noodles, hi-chair and a camping cot. Books, puzzles and a puzzle table for the adults Ocean Air has 3 lounges and 3 TV's. 2 TV's have Full DSTV. All 3 TV's that can be on at the same time without disturbing others. 1. The TV in main lounge has PVR (recording ability). 2. The West Wing has a TV room with full DSTV, a toy cupboard, kids bookshelf, with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. A sound proof door separates this space from the main open plan living area, so different programs can be watched on the two living room TV's. 3. The Third TV is a Smart TV for Netflix, Disney, streaming etc, in the large upstairs loft lounge which also has a kitchenette. This area has 2 bedrooms with a full shared bathroom. A real holiday feel with inside and outside access, creating a potentially private area for a second family. Even though Ocean Air has so much space, Couples can enquire about lower rates out of season. The 19 solar panels, inverter, and backup battery make sure you aren't left high and dry during possible load-shedding or outages. Triple filtration and UV bacterial light for rainwater makes for the purest fresh water from every tap in the house. Ocean Air boasts a massive 90,000 water tank, however we are under water restrictions because of the drought in the area. So we request our tenants to conserve water. Uncapped wifi with 3 extenders ensure that wifi extends to every area of the house. The outside shower is plumbed for hot water, ideal after a swim or run. Our kitchen caters for all one's needs, with a Nespresso, Airfryer, 4 piece Toaster, Double Oven, microwave, blender, electric frying pan and ample kitchenware items for baking, cooking and hosting. The fridge freezer is plumbed for water and ice. We have a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. Ocean Air has 3 braai facilities. A Barrel Braai for the larger crowd, a gas Braai on the patio, and a Weber. Hairdryers are in the bedrooms, and we also provide beach towels. We provide your first toilet rolls in toilets as well as your first soap/shampoo. Toilet paper and cleaning products are for your own account after the first 2 days. For long stays, gas will be provided but, for your own account after the first cylinder. The housekeeper is usually included every second week-day (ie. Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday Saturday), but will be agreed on booking. Garden is maintained on Wednesdays, as is the Pool. We welcome families. We don’t allow parties or any loud or raucous behaviour. a short walk up to the village shops, coffee shops and restaurants of which there are plenty to choose from if you choose not to cook. Pizzarella is favourite, 3 minute walk from Ocean Air. The first nights' dinner, with views of the Kariega River. Guest access The entire 6 bedroom home is available to guests, but please enquire about bookings for couples who wish to stay at a lower rate and use part of the house (unless Specials are already offered). The home is never shared with others. One parking inside the garage is available for guests if required. Please request! Kenton always has a sheltered spot from the wind – Kariega side is perfect in a westerly, and Bushman's side in an easterly. Great rock pools and coves abound along the unspoilt beaches. Middle Beach is popular for all ages, with a coffee and breakfast wagon called Dilly Deli. Go for amazing leisurely walks in both directions, to Bushman's for sundowners, via Shelley Beach (at low tide) with high up views, or to Kariega River Mouth for a swim in the sea. Drive to the other side of Bushman's River and walk to Diaz Cross for a half-day adventure. Float with the tide, or boat up the two tidal rivers; maybe even spot some of the animals which come down from the Reserves to the water’s edge - higher up the river. Lifeguards are on duty at Kariega Blue Flag Beach in season and on weekends. Other things to note Please bring your own Nespresso pods.
