The Piggery is a beautiful self- contained, detached converted Piggery set in landscaped gardens as part of Verdley Edge and nestled between Cowdray woodland and the stunning South Downs. With walks from the doorstep and an award winning country pub ‘The Duke of Cumberland’ in walking distance, this is perfect retreat from busy lives. After 6 years superhosting over 500 guests The Piggery has just received a full renovation for 2024 and is looking extra lovely, we can’t wait to welcome you. The space The Piggery is full of character, set out studio style with vaulted ceilings, sofa bed for any extra guests, your own seating area, and a self contained kitchen and shower-room. Available with Apple TV, sonos, fast WIFI, your own private parking space outside and outside table and chairs with bbq and an ooni pizza oven (by request). Walking distance to the award winning Duke of Cumberland pub and multiple woodland walks direct from your door, The Piggery is a beautiful place for those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of a true countryside location but who also want direct links to Haslemere and Midhurst. Well behaved dogs and children very welcome. Cots, and children's mattress available on request as well as extra amenities (such as booster chairs). Bikes for your use at a special request. Laundry service may be available on request at the time of booking. We look forward to welcoming you very soon! Guest access Guests have entire run of the Piggery, the car parking space outside of it, and a table and chairs outside. Other things to note Please note that the kitchen contains a fridge, microwave oven, slow cooker, egg boiler, George forman grill, air fryer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and sink. However there is no oven/ hob. However a bbq is outside your dedicated seating area and will be available for your use throughout your stay.
