Only a 15 minute drive to Maclean, or 20 minute drive to Yamba, our home gives you easy access to some of Australia's most beautiful coastline, coastal towns, and surfing beaches, while allowing you to come home to your own private escape after a day of exploration. LOCATION Located in Ashby Heights, the house is completely surrounded by eucalyptus forest and backs onto national park bushland, offering a stunningly unique and private experience. - 15 minute drive to Maclean. - 20 minute drive to Yamba. - 1 hour drive south of Ballina Airport. - 1 hour and 15 minutes to Byron Bay and surrounding areas. - 1 hour and 20 minutes to Coffs Harbour. THE HOUSE - Standalone house, split into two sections separated by a breezeway. - Suitable for up to four guests. One master bedroom with a queen bed for two guests, while a slide-out couch becomes a double bed for up to two more. Space available in master bedroom for a porta-cot (BYO) if needed for those with a young child. - High speed Starlink internet connection, suitable for those working remotely. - Full kitchen available with oven, stovetop, air-fryer, dishwasher, and microwave for all your cooking needs. - Ensuite bathroom on the master bedroom with shower and bath. - Washing machine available. - Ceiling fans in each room, with additional fans available. The house naturally cools throughout the evening on those hot summer days. - 4K Television available. - Sonos music speaker available. - Daily visits from local wallabies, parrots, and a variety of local wildlife. Guest access Guests have full access to the house and property. Other things to note While beautiful, the Australian bushland is also the home to a variety of bugs, spiders, and the rare snake. We provide a first aid kit and insect repellent but recommend you bring any extra you think you may need (mosquitos are common). We also recommend you be vigilant if walking through any bushy areas, particularly in the late evening.
