The Yurt Experience - Gigha

Please note all guests are required to bring their own bedding and towels. Our Traditional handmade Yurt is set in our private garden furnished with comfortable beds and a cozy wood burning stove. Surrounded by our chickens, herbs and vegetables, and blue sea with white sand beaches 2 minutes away. A true getaway! The space This 6m diameter handcrafted Mongolian Yurt is off-grid and the only glamping style accommodation on the Island. We have 1 double futon and 2 single futons sleeping 4 in total. All the beds fold up easily for ample seating through the day. A central wood burning stove will ensure a cozy stay even if the weather takes a turn. A dinner table, chairs and 2 traditional Mongolian chests complete the furniture. Guest access Guests should bring their own duvets, pillows, covers and towels. Guests will have access to all crockery, cutlery, pots/pans and glasses. A small gas stove is available to supplement the large BBQ grill for cooking outside. We provide a supply of logs for the wood burning stove. Lighting is provided by 4 powerful LED lanterns. Separate to the Yurt is a newly refurbished toilet and shower facility and a large outdoor stainless steel sink unit for washing up. An adjacent storage shed houses a small fridge and power sockets for your use during your stay. Guests have access to the whole garden and any eggs our small flock of chickens can provide.
