The Farm Lifestyle

You'll be staying on a centennial farm that is still in operation today. You'll have access to over 1000 acres where you can feel free to walk, ride your bike, snowshoe, or cross country ski. YES, we do allow house broken pets! :-) *First pet is free, there is an additional $20 per pet with a limit of three pets. No ATV/Snowmobiles please... The space Original with the farm, the 100 year old house has been redone specifically for the farm experience. You can interact with the five full time farmers on the premises if you choose, or sit on the deck and watch the cherries blossom with Lake Michigan in the background. You'll be less than 10 minutes away from boat launches at Torch Lake, Lake Michigan and Intermediate Lake, so make sure to bring the boat, there is plenty of parking available. If you're a land dweller, OUR OWN WINERY CELLAR 1914 is located on the premises, Shorts Brewery is a 15 minute trip, Mammoth Distillery (which uses our cherries in their cherry bounce) is a 10 minute drive located in the heart of Central Lake. Ethanology which we supply corn for their whiskey and cherries is located 20 minutes away in downtown Elk Rapids. You'll have access to the apartment portion of the house in which we have redone. You will have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area (without oven, but with stove top and microwave) large living space, large deck with a grill and a newly added fire pit in the yard. There are stairs to climb to access the house and there are sounds and sights that happen on this farm that are beyond our control. Guest access You'll have access to over 1000 acres of farm land. Feel free to walk around and take in the fresh country air and learn where and how your food is being grown. Also check out our Winery CELLAR 1914.
