The space Walking distance to both Infjärdssjön (750 meters) and to the sea, Hummelsviken, (10 minutes). Björkö Örn's seaside campground with a café/shop/restaurant and mini golf is 2.5 km away. Shallow sandy beach that is popular with families with children. You can easily walk or bike to wonderful Gräddö Harbor if you don't want to use the car; it's a distance of 3 km. In Gräddö Harbor, there is the popular Kvarnudden, which offers Fika, a barbecue buffet, alcohol, and troubadour evenings. In the harbor, there is also an Ica store (agent for Systembolaget, ATG and Postnord), a pizzeria and a harbor café. Possibility to rent a canoe and sauna raft. In Södersvik, 7 km away, there is the world's best bakery, Rådmansö Bakery, which bakes sourdough bread using only organic and certified products. Serves breakfast, lunch, and irresistible buns in a cozy setting. From Räfsnäs jetty, about 7 km away, you can make day trips to several different islands including Lidö and Fejan. Also from Kapellskär, 10 km away, you can take excursions to Åland, among other places, with the Åland ferry. It takes about 20 minutes by car to Norrtälje city. There is a bus connection from/to Gräddö, where there are many shops for children, young adults and the elderly, art exhibitions, a movie theater, many restaurants, pubs and nice cafes along the river. From Norrtälje, there are daily buses (double-deckers) to Stockholm and Tekniska högskolan, about a 1-hour journey. Other things to note Rent the cottage during weeks 28 + 30-33 for SEK 8,000/week. After that, the cottage is rented out monthly for a longer period for SEK 10,000/month + electricity. The cottage is cleaned upon arrival and should be left in the same condition.
