Welcome to "Fascinosa" – a place that is out of the ordinary. Our creative apartment combines the comfort of a modern accommodation with the inspiring charm of a vibrant gallery. Located at the idyllic "Gateway to the Eifel, Moselle Region, Hunsrück" in Föhren (near Trier & Luxembourg), a retreat full of imagination, style, and relaxation awaits you here. The space Experience the "Fascinosa" – a place for individualists in the heart of the Mosel wine region, perfectly located between the historic city of Trier and the border with Luxembourg. We have designed our private vacation apartment creatively and artistically with a lot of love for detail. Fascinosa is more than just a place to stay; it is a place for the senses that harmoniously combines comfort, art, nature, and a good dose of originality. Living in a work of art: handmade furniture & iconic taxis The interior of the Fascinosa is characterized by creativity. Everywhere you will find carefully selected works of art, sculptures and changing pictures by artist friends. Many of our pieces of furniture are lovingly handcrafted original creations – real little furniture artworks that you won't find anywhere else. The absolute centerpiece in the living area is our colorful, one-of-a-kind piece: a sofa made from an Indian taxi. (The perfect photo hotspot!) Another very comfortable sofa offers space for relaxing hours with friends and family. Game collections, books, drawing paper and pencils are available for little explorers. The sofa has a pull-out bed surface of 160 x 200 cm and offers additional sleeping options for the 5th and 6th person. On request, we will prepare the sofa as a place to sleep. Kitchen & dining area The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and all accessories for self-catering. The cozy dining area for 6 people leads directly onto the 25m2 terrace with lounge furniture and a charcoal grill. Garden oasis & culinary delights for all the senses Step out into our terraced sandstone garden – your private oasis of well-being. Waterfall: Enjoy the sun by the warm natural stone walls while a small waterfall gently splashes. Fresh harvest: Fancy a special dinner? Feel free to help yourself to fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables from our raised bed and garden. Snacking is allowed! Bedroom 1 Customized sleeping comfort: We want you to sleep wonderfully. In addition to a first-class box spring double bed (180 x 200 cm) with high-quality mattresses, flanked by specially created designer bedside tables from our artist's workshop, the bedroom has a reading corner and a small work table. For your little ones, a Hauck baby bed (up to 9 kg) is available if needed. (Please let us know before arrival if this is needed) The modern, triple-glazed windows guarantee an undisturbed night's sleep. Bedroom 2 (flexible): 2 flexible, high-quality box beds (each 100 x 200 cm) for children or friends can be connected to the luxury width of 200 cm for couples on request. On request, we will prepare the beds accordingly with fresh linens. Everything within reach – the convenience of short distances: In just a few minutes' walk, you can reach a popular restaurant with a large sun terrace. Perfect for guests who want to end the day on the terrace overlooking taking-off light aircraft. Village charm & supplies: A modern discount store for everyday needs and a traditional bakery with an attached corner store are just around the corner – ideal for fresh rolls in the morning. Direct access to nature: The entrance to the Meulenwald, the largest contiguous forest area in the Eifel, is practically at your doorstep. Pilot Special Fly-In & Comfort: For guests arriving by their own small aircraft, the "Fascinosa" is a rare stroke of luck: The neighboring Föhren airfield is only a few minutes' walk away via a dirt road. Land, check in and relax on the taxi sofa in moments – a perfect stop for aviation enthusiasts. Perfect base for explorers (Moselle, Eifel, Hunsrück, Trier & Luxembourg) Föhren is ideally located geographically in the heart of one of the most diverse vacation regions in Germany. From here, all paths are open to you: The romantic Moselle (Roman Wine Route), the mystical forests and maars of the Eifel, the Meulenwald, the largest contiguous forest area in Europe, and the heights of the Hunsrück, the popular Eifel and Moselsteig are right outside the door. In just 15–20 minutes, you can be in historic Trier, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is also perfect for a day trip. Wine & enjoyment: Enjoy the first-class Rieslings of the Mosel directly at the winemaker's or on a hike through the steepest vineyards in Europe. Fascinosa – right by the ANNAMALT artists' house Where art is at home Inspired by the direct proximity to the ANNAMALT Künstlerhaus – one of the "111 must-see places on the Moselle" – we have created an ambience in the "Fascinosa" that carries on this creative energy. While art history is being written next door, we are setting our own accents inside the Fascinosa: Our sofa from an Indian taxi is not just a piece of furniture, but a statement of individuality and cosmopolitanism. This artistic freedom extends to the outdoor area, where the gentle waterfall from the sandstone walls provides the ideal backdrop for inspiring moments. Those who stay here not only book a room, but also immerse themselves in a world full of imagination and aesthetics. Our opening special (booking from 3 days) For our first guests, we offer as a very special highlight a visit to the neighboring Künstlerhaus, which is widely known from film and television. The artist ANNAMALT will personally guide you through all the rooms of her complete body of work. Look forward to this special experience! Other things to note Our apartment has been completely renovated in a new and modern style. Due to its central location on a village street, the property has modern, triple-glazed windows for optimal living comfort. A special bonus: The cozy terrace and the sandstone garden are located on the sunny back side of the building. As a result, the terrace and the entire garden area are absolutely quiet and offer you a peaceful, green oasis of relaxation. In addition to free Wi-Fi throughout the apartment and also in the garden/terrace with up to 1000 Mbps (up to 500 Mbps upload), as well as network outlets in all living rooms, the accommodation has a Smart TV (300+ channels) and Netflix (content from Netflix that can be booked for a fee, etc., is not included in the price of the accommodation) The apartment has its own entrance to the building and a parking space with an electric charging station (for a fee, billed per kWh used). The appearance in the immediate vicinity of the arrival area is somewhat rustic, as the adjacent neighboring house is still being completed in the outside area (facade and courtyard). There will be no active or noisy construction work during your stay. We have already taken this into account in our attractive introductory prices.
