A true experience! We share our home with our four Chihuahuas and two sweet rescue cats who live in the main house, so this listing is for animal lovers. Outside, we have lots of animals that roam free. You are more than welcome to help feed the birds, as we have beautiful peacocks, turkeys, ducks, and chickens wandering around the grounds! Because our own furry family members rule the roost, we maintain a strict no guest pets policy inside the house to keep everyone happy and harmonious. The space The bedroom: A beautifully curated, boutique country sanctuary on the second floor. This spacious room features a striking queen-size four-poster timber bed and a 50” TV so you can unwind with your favorite shows from bed. For your absolute comfort year-round, the room is equipped with its own dedicated heat pump for instant heating and cooling. The bathroom: Located directly across the hallway from your bedroom, you will have access to a bright bathroom fully equipped with a modern shower, a classic pedestal sink, a toilet, and a window looking out onto the beautiful surrounding hills. Please note: This bathroom is located in the hallway and is shared if we have another guest booked in our second upstairs room. Shared Kitchen: While your bedroom is a private upstairs retreat, the rest of the home is a shared, communal environment. You are most welcome to use our main master kitchen on the ground floor to prepare your meals. Please note that the bathroom and kitchen are shared spaces, and we live alongside our four friendly Chihuahuas and two sweet cats, making it a warm and lively household! Guest access The Master Kitchen & Lounge: You have full access to our main kitchen on the ground floor to prepare your meals. Right next to it, feel free to relax in the lounge, which features a massive 85” TV—perfect for movie nights or catching a game. The Porch & BBQ: Head out onto the porch to enjoy the fresh rural air; there is a barbecue available there if you fancy cooking up a great outdoor meal. The Outdoors: You have open access to wander our beautiful gardens and explore the tranquil walking trails winding around the property. Feel free to say hello to the free-roaming peacocks, turkeys, ducks, and chickens—and you're more than welcome to help feed them! Please note: The upstairs bathroom is shared if we have another guest staying in our second room, and the common areas are shared with us and our indoor pets (four friendly Chihuahuas and two cats). During your stay Because we live here on the property, we are usually around and always happy to help with anything you need—whether it’s resetting the heat pump, giving you tips on the best local spots, or handing you some feed for the peacocks! You can easily catch us in the shared common areas or downstairs. If we happen to be out or you just prefer your privacy, you can message us anytime directly through the Airbnb app or give us a quick call/text, and we’ll get right back to you. Other things to note Rural Vibe & Tech Details: We are located in a beautiful, genuine rural area, which means you get peace, quiet, and incredible starry nights! Because of our countryside location, mobile phone reception can be a bit patchy depending on your provider, but we have reliable Wi-Fi available inside the house to keep you connected. Furry & Feathered Hosts: Please keep in mind that this is a lively, working farm property! If you aren't fond of animals, this might not be the match for you. You will be sharing the house with our indoor pets, and you'll encounter our free-roaming birds outside. We keep our home clean and tidy, but a bit of country dust and pet enthusiasm comes with the territory. Getting Around: A car is highly recommended to get the most out of your stay, as there is no public transport out this way. We are the perfect base for a quiet retreat or a beach day trip!
