You can also rent a suite with the house, which is located with a door from the main building, but also has its own entrance from one wing. One shared large toilet/bathroom with both shower and bathtub. The garden is a large park for various activities, with a fountain that is frequently used for wedding ceremonies. Guest access Access to the whole house with a terrace and a view of the lake, and a patio in the front. Plenty of tables and chairs. The park with grass lawn and fountain is partially shared with Airbnb guests in the house next door; sometimes there are weddings by the fountain. Boat and hot tub are loaned free of charge and booked via the booking board down by the beach. Boat gasoline 95 octane, filled directly into the engine. Bring gasoline. Some life jackets are available to borrow in the lakeside cabin. Firewood for the hot tub is by the beach. There is a barbecue by the house; bring charcoal for the barbecue. Other things to note Eskekärr Säteri is frequently used during the summer season for weddings, and then the nearby house, Annexet, is rented to overnight guests. There is no party in the Annex building, but they sometimes use the park for their wedding, usually on a Saturday for an hour or so in the middle of the day. In that case, we would like them to have exclusive use of the fountain area. Directly below the property is Lake Lygnern and the small sandy beach with a jetty, where our guests have access to both a boat and a hot tub for a relaxing moment in the embrace of nature. Nice hiking trails such as Hallandsleden and Kinnaleden. Eskekärr Säteri is otherwise surrounded by beautiful oak forest and many forest trails. There is an outdoor grill by the house but also down by the beach. Bring your own charcoal for the grill. Many people ask us about hiking trails. There are a few trails within a short driving distance, for example, Hyssnaleden and Hallandsleden. Hallandsleden can be started from nearby Fjärås Bräcka. Right outside the accommodation, there are really lovely forest paths next to Säteriet. Just cross over to the other side of Tostaredsvägen. About 1.5 km from the house, there is a nice little pond. If you google Finnstugan, I think you will find your way there, above Långhult. A short distance from the houses, there are also cows and horses in a fenced area, and these must not be disturbed. Therefore, it is forbidden to use fireworks, which also means that it is dog-friendly at our place, for example, on New Year's Eve. Some weekends, we also have weddings in the barn on the property, and then there is also a half-hour ceremony in the park by the fountain. You are not allowed to be there then, but otherwise it is open at all other times.
